Iphone call problem

Hello. I have the same problem, I can't hear who I'm calling unless I put it on speaker phone. this is so funny, after a restore, the phone is working normal again, but after a few days, same problem again. Please help...

May sound incredibly obvious for which I apologise but you have taken off the protective plastic covering that comes with the iPhone? It covers the earpiece.

First, try restoring it. Plug it in to the computer and Click Restore When it pops up in itunes. Please note that this will destroy all data on the phone.
If that doesnt work, call apple.

My Iphone was doing the same thing. I had just ordered a new headphone jack to replace the one in the phone. However, I saw a post where someone had cut the tip of a qtip of, leaving just enough of the cotton on the end. They then used the qtip to clean out the headphone jack. I tried this but it didnt work. However, I had accidentally pressed the volume button during one of the cleanings, and I noticed that it would change from headphones to regular ringer settings as I was cleaning the jack. I used the qtip to move around in the jack while the volume display was up. I eventually got the display to change to regular ringer volume, and now my Iphone works like it always has. I guess there is something in the jack that was "switched" that made it think the phone had headphone connected.

yeh i hav the same problem and i restored it and it still doznt work. plzz help

I used to kind of have this problem, but i just delt with it. Then my phone actually broke (i have the warranty), they replaced it and no more problem.
