I hv a Memphis 1100 watt mono block n a kicker 12" l7 try to get rid of the flutter or hum at low volume tried just about everything suggestions plzzz

I once got a hum from running the rca and power wires side by side, separated em and problem was solved. Could also be something shorting to the frame, bad ground, cracked insulation on rca wires, the gain might be set to high or maybe the amps dying. It could take over a year for an amp to completely die. But you can always pick up an electronic noise eliminator from radio shack for like ten to twenty bucks

What would the best way hooking up a 15" memphis dual voice coil sub ran with a 1000 watt memphis d amplifier??

If the amp is a 2 channel I would hook up each voice coil to a different channel. Also, make sure you hook your amp up as close to the sub as possible. With a sub that size you need to eliminate any delay in signal transfer because the sub is so larg.

How do i wire 12"

it depends on the equipment you have and what your trying to do. what are the ohms rating of the speakers- are they dual or single voice coils? what kind of amp are you using? 2-channell 4- channell- or a mono ? if its a mono or a 2-channell what impedence are they stable down to?(ohms)

MY amp is going into clip mode. what is clip mode on an infinity car audio amp?

either your pushing your subs to hard and its creating a backsurge of resistance, or the spider wires are touching the frame causing them to foul out. It honestly sounds like you are trying to run too low of an impedance subwoofer, and your amp infinitys clip to keep from distorting, distortion played through a subwoofer at high volumes is damaging to the subwoofer and the amplifier. reduce your gain, and check your wires, the clipping should stop, a good rule of thumb always have an amplifer that will do rms what your speakers can do peak, so that way you can keep the amp turned up only 1/4 of the way and be pushing your subs at a decent rms volume with 0 distortion.

I have hooked up my subwoofer and amp to my factory stereo in a 2011 camry. My power wire is hooked directly up to my battery, my ground to the chassis and my remote to my fuse. I have my RCA wires (RCA on...

Rewire your stereo cables as such:

Red- positive - battery
Black - ground - chassis
Remote (Yellow) - ignition switch

The "LINE OUT" should go to your SUB-WOOFER.

The while-lined wires paired with the solid colored wires are either your Front LR and/or Rear L/R.

Amp is on, but sub wont produce any bass

Make sure the subwoofer is set to low frequency, make sure subwoofer and bass are enabled on the headdeck. Make sure the gain is turned up on the amp, make sure the rcas haven't come out of the back of the head deck.
