Question about Targus Photography
Check out any decent camera shop. I have as Cullman quick release head fitted to the top of a Manfrotto Ball& Socket fitted to a Benbo tripod.
The same head is fitted to my Cullman Monopod and all my cameras (including Video) have the male adaptor permanently attached.
All the bits were bought from different dealers.
There are other brands too. Don't feel you are restricted by the make of your tripod.

Try www.TripodQuickRelease.com for that part. There is listed the widest selection of quick releases and support more brands than any other web site I've seen. Targus parts exactly will be hard to get so you may have to measure the opening of the quick release hole and work from there.
