Question about Bosch 24 in. SHX46B05 Stainless Steel Built-in Dishwasher

Bosch Dishwasher SHE6AF06UC won't turn on

Control panel does not come on. Am using the cord from the old dishwasher and continuity of the cord checked out ok. Circuit is live, verified by plugging in the garbage disposal. New supply hose is hooked up and the valve is turned on. Added a cup of water to the bottom as instructed by Bosch customer service. Have a well so water pressure is not great but is pretty good. This is the second unit I've tried and they've both behaved the same way. Any ideas?

Control panel won work power

yes the have power cord. see this steps and fix it.
God bless you
1. No power to the dishwasher
Make sure there's power getting to the dishwasher. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power. Sometimes the power cord disconnects at the dishwasher (inside the junction box, behind the bottom kick panel), if this is the case, the wiring must be repaired or replaced.

2. Door switch
Replace if defective.

3. Timer or Control Electronic
Replace if defective (note: uncommon problem).

4. Selector switch
Replace if defective (note: uncommon problem).

Bosch SHX4605UC/30 dishwasher won't turn on

Since you have power to the dishwasher, check to see if there is a push button reset, there could also be a fuse blown.

I have a Bosch SHU9955US/14 (Integra) dishwasher. There is currently a 0 with and asterisk showing on the display and the unit will not run.

see this causes and fix it. God bless you
Thermal Fuse If the dishwasher won't start the thermal fuse might have blown. The thermal fuse helps to prevent damage to the dishwasher by turning off power so that it doesn't overheat. Once blown, the thermal fuse will have to be replaced for the dishwasher to work.

Door Switch The door switch, or switches, are sometimes called interlock switches. The door switch prevents the dishwasher from running while the door is open. If the dishwasher won't start, the switch or switches might be defective. To access the door switches, remove the control panel or inside door panel - depending on the model. They can be tested for continuity.

Main Control Board The main control board provides power to nearly every component of the dishwasher. If the dishwasher won't start the main control board might be defective. YOU should first check for more common parts. Many times control boards are replaced unnecessarily because the problem was not diagnosed properly.

Touchpad and Control Panel If the touchpad is defective, the control board might not get the signal for the selections made. If the dishwasher won't start and the display doesn't seem to change properly when the buttons are pressed, the touchpad might need to be replaced. On some models the touchpad and control panel are sold together and will need to be replaced at the same time.

Touchpad If the touchpad is defective, the control board might not get the signal for the selections made. If the dishwasher won't start and the display doesn't seem to change properly when the buttons are pressed, the touchpad might need to be replaced.

Timer The timer allows power to flow to the proper parts at the proper times. If the dishwasher won't start, the timer might be defective. Keep in mind that timers are often misdiagnosed as the cause of a problem. Check other components first before replacing the timer.

Am interested in buying bosch 500 series dishwasher, but notice power cord and water cord are not included. I currently have a kitchenaid DW, can I just use same cords, or do I need to purchase new cords...

you should be able to use same cord. I would use 14 guage wire will run 15amp.
it will probably say 14/2 or 14/3 on the wire.
I would say your old wire is right. make sure you find the breaker for the dishwasher and turn off power before you work on it.

How do I reset an old Bosch dishwasher SHI4302UC ?

Assuming that you can control power to the dishwasher from your kitchen panel switches, hold down the power on switch on the front panel of the dishwasher and recycle power (switch off and on) at the kitchen panel switch.

This will reset the dishwasher.

Bosch dishwasher timer freezing

There is a recall on the control board of many of these models, butyour problem is likely not related. It sounds like a plugged drain system or a possible bad drain pump. That's why you are hearing the pump running constantly. I have written a guide to help. It is here. Thanks!

Once removed the metal outer door cover will slide down and the plastic top housing less switch panel can be unclipped from two locking tabs on either side. You can order via BOSCH service center, check to see if it is warrantied before removing
