Question about Dryers

1 Answer

The unit spins and clothes get hot, but no water collects in the water container. So things aren't drying...:(

The container is at the bottom. The pump seems fine...but I've fixed it! There was about a ton of fluff in the hidden pipe to the water container in the door.....sorry for not looking harder first, and thanks for the reply!

If the water container is located at the top, then the pump is probably defective.

Collects very little water never fills up the container. all fiters are clean

Hello,

First, make sure the humidistat isn't set too high by adjusting it to the lowest humidity setting and running it again. Next, test the dehumidifier by placing it in a closed bathroom with a hot shower running. If you don't see water collecting in the unit after several minutes, turn the unit off and clean all dehumidifier filters and coils. If, after adjusting the settings and cleaning the unit, you still don't see water collecting, you may have a refrigeration issue. This situation will have to be addressed by a qualified technician.

Take care.

Washer will not spin water out. I took clothes out of water and tried spin cycle again...still will not spin water out.

Hi,

You probably have a blocked filter on the drain pump. If it is a front loader the service panel will be on the front at the bottom of the unit on the left or right. Open this up and remove the filter and check for blockages. Have a baking tray handy to collect any water.Hope this helps.

Washer-dryer # wm3677HW will not dry, heats up, run, on and on

You're a moron. This unit washes and dries. That's the whole point of it. Perhaps you should do some research before answering the question. the most likely cause is the water lever sensor.

How do we get rid of the water that collects in

There is no container, it burns it up inside into hot air and sends the moisture out the exhaust tube which you hooked up to the back of the unit and ran either outside or underneath house through flooring. There is one of these units that does come with a bucket in the front bottom drawer that comes out, but if its a PAC ct90 just like mine, there is no water empty it handles all that itself.

Condenser Dryer Still Filling Room With Moisture

all dryers produce moisture. thats what hapens when you heat wet cloths up. the dryers job is to remove the moisture to dry. thats how the automai]tic cycles work by deteting the moisture in the exhaust. i will say there is nothing wrong with your dryer. only thing i dont understand is the containers of water?

Heating, draining water(enough?) but not drying clothes, they're just HOT, so is top of machine

You have a problem with the condensing duct.  Possibly clogged with excess and lint and needs to be cleaned out.  This requires disassembly of the unit to get to it.  Not a difficult job but not easy.
