SOURCE: water solenoid connection
The exact model number would help. I think your admiral is a lot like a maytag fridge. Look at the installation instructions in this manual: http://www.maytag.com/assets/product/Use%20and%20Care%20Guide%20-%202326267A.pdf or this manual to compare: http://www.maytag.com/assets/product/12842123.PDF
It does seem that the water inlet is at the valve as you suspect.

ok go to parts store and get a 12v probe tester its cheap! when you get back with it take the claw part of it and grab some metal that has no paint on it somewere around those wires like a bolt or somthing that is part of the cars metal . now go turn the key on and start the car. go back to the black wires and start probing them when you get a light that comes on on that probe you just bought label it postive . there is not a lot of wires here so the next one will be labels ground. now with some help put some one in the car and have them push the break down then start to probe agen on those black wires with the break down one of those wires should light up now this is the break wire should be blue start conecting these with but caps bye these too while you r at the parts store . and feel free to ask them to while you r there about this . between me and them you will better under stand and you will solve this.

SOURCE: HAVE A SENSOR WITH A
It might be the intake air temperature sensor. This sensor usually mounts into either the air cleaner or the plastic or rubber pipe going from the air cleaner to the throttle body.

SOURCE: How do I connect to
It will be much easier if you go to your local auto parts or stereo dealer and ask them for an installion harness. This will make your headache go away and much easier to do. Good Luck.
