Suitable CPU air cooler

I have the P4M800Pro-M v2.0 with an LGA775 Pentium 915 D CPU and want to buy a good air cooler - maybe a Zalman - which ones might or might not work due to size constraints?
I have an Aspire X-cruiser mid tower case.

I suppose you have done your homework as to if u really *need* to buy a new cooler. Is ur CPU getting HOT? what temperatures does it run at? Your choice of cooler depends on what you plan to do with it. Do you plan to overclock your system? I would suggest a Coolermaster stock copper cooling system. Zalman is also good but expensive. But as i said depends on what u wanna do with the system and if u really need that extra cooling if you dont plan to overclock your system.

What mother board should is best for use on this video editing, engineering, and games with better graphics and can also work for more than 18 hours?

The best computer mainboard, would be either an AMD AM3 mainboard made by ASUS. For example ASUS Crosshair IV Formula or ASUS M4A88TD-V EVO/USB3. Or an Intel computer mainboard. ASUS Socket 1156/1155/1366.

Your Pentium Dual-Core E2180 2.0Ghz on the LGA775 socket is not good for Games or video.

The best thing to do is to purchase a new computer system.

Use either AMD Phenom 2 or Intel I5 or I7.
Use a good mainboard as above.
Use a good Graphics card, Nvidia 400 series.
Keep all the components running cool with a case that you like and has place for lots of 120mm or 140mm fans.
Use DDR3 RAM 1333MHz or higher.
Use Cooler Master or Corsair Power Supply.

If however you are wanting a good mainboard to be used with your Pentium Dual-Core E2180 2.0Ghz on the LGA775 socket then click here.

ASUS is very good, all these mainboard on the LGA775 socket are good, choose one that looks good to you and one that you can afford.

Thanking you kindly

Overheating intel 915 2.8ghz processor 50degrees

The overheating problem (ie. thermal shutdown) is most likely caused by a faulty CPU fan or dust clogging the CPU fan and heatsink.
Check the BIOS CPU fan speed could be set too low, check the fan speed/temperature setting.
If this problem is not fixed, then the CPU will eventually fail.
Check the fan to see if it spins freely, if not then replace the faulty fan.
If the fan and heatsink are cligged with dust, loosen and remove the dust and use a can of compress air to blow away the dust.

Zalman VF2000 LED fan starts then stops right after boot

Sounds like a defective fan, something having to do with the thermal probe, it causes the fan to speed up when cpu gets hot and to slow down when the cpu is cool. I suggest returning it for another one

I need a cpu fan what size does it take

It goes by which socket you have. I am an Intel connoisseur so my knowledge ends with Intel PCs.

If your processor is an early Intel Pentium 4, you will want a socket 478 CPU cooler.

If your processor is a late Intel Pentium 4 or Intel Core 2 Duo/Quad (~2ghz+) you will want a socket 775 CPU cooler. Luckily this socket is still in wide use and many can be found locally or online.

If your processor is an Intel Core i7, you will want a socket 1366 cooler.

Just go to a local PC store and ask for an LGA478, LGA775, or LGA1366 CPU heatsink.

Cpu fan not running fast enough

This will depend on the motherboard you are using.

however, you need to make sure that the CPU fan lead is plugged into the correct plug on the motherboard... for example, I have an Intel 975xbx motherboard and it has 4 fan plugs, but only one of those is for the CPU. The others are for front/rear/top fans. If the CPU fan is plugged into one of the secondary ports, the CPU fan wont speed up correctly.

Also, some BIOS settings in the motherboard allow you to enable or disable automatic fan speed adjustment, and also set the temperature points.
