  • Anonymous Dec 26, 2007

Ive had the camera (Cybershot dcs-t50) for about a year or two already, and at Christmas, it started to vibrate when I turned on my camera and stayed like that for a while (screen fuzzy too) until i shook it a little and it stopped. but, it kept doing that when I turned it on, sometimes shaking it a little still wouldn't have worked. What's wrong? Can somebody answer this, please?

    camera vibrating

Exact same problem here, I think it's related to focus. I believe the camera is using auto focus (AF) to focus but can't and so retries indefinitely causing the vibration. When the camera is working there is a small shudder when you first turn it on as the AF slides the prisms. I am going to get in touch with Sony over the next week and sort this.

Sony has recently discovered that with certain units of its "Cyber-shot" DSC-T20 digital still camera, a symptom may arise in which the camera body may vibrate when it is powered on, due to a mechanical failure affecting the lens, and it prevents the camera user from being able to shoot.
To ensure customer satisfaction, Sony will provide a free repair service when this symptom occurs within certain units covered by the serial numbers indicated in the serial number validation box below.

The vibration is not caused by the focusing system but by the optical image stabilization system. Check this out: http://www.fixya.com/support/t408279-vibration_when_using_sony_cyber_shot_dsc

My sanyo vpc-s670r digital camera has a blurred shot. how can i fix this problem? i also clean the lens still blurred especially when shotting outdoor.

You must take pictures gently. Blur picture may occur if you move during capturing a picture. Or your hand move too fast after taking a picture. Try to stay still for two or three second after push the capture button.
Blur picture when shooting outdoor can be caused by too much light. Don't forget to set your camera in outdoor or panorama mode, and turn of the flash light if you think its too bright.

Hope this help and RATE please !

The problem is its having difficulty in focusing on objects. If your going to take a picture its so blurred and hazy but if you are gonna see the stored pictures its so clear.

Blurry picture could be caused by insufficient lighting or constant camera vibration. Try increasing the ISO to max and fixing the camera so it doesn't move. If the picture itself is focused, than maybe you have a problem with the cameras' screen. If the picture is still not focused (nor camera screen or stored one) than maybe you have to clean the lens. Use a dry smooth cloth. If that doesn't work, than maybe you have a sensor problem. For that you'll have to contact the company for warranty.

It is an intermittent problem: The viewed picture vibrates and also the camera itself and makes an appropriate "vibration" type sound pictures taken come out blurred.

This problem is going to require service. I would just buy a 12.1 mp brand name for $69 at Walmart or on sale somewhere else. You'll pay more than that to get it fixed anywhere.

Blurred pictures, and Red hand Flashing warning

The red hand is warning you that the shutter speed is too slow for handholding. Your pictures are coming out blurred because the camera is moving during the relatively lengthy exposure.

Put the camera on a tripod or other stable surface, and/or use the flash.

Cybershot H7 focus problem

Things to check before you assume it is a mechanical issue-you can get vibration message if flash is disabled, be sure also that the macro mode is not enabled-this is very common on sony cameras to turn on by accident-flower button on camera will put in close up mode and you will get blur make sure no flower is present on lcd screen-if in macro press button on camera w/flower to turn off-also in menu you have continuous and monitor auto focus settings try changing one or the other and see what happens

Blurred pictures

I had the same problem. The solution is in the manual but it is not straight forward. You have to set steady shot to auto when the shutter button is pressed half way down. The vibration warning will still show. At this point the camera is sensing low light. The to need to make sure the flash is set to always on. The flash setting for background will not turn the vibration warning off.
