Either your plumbing is not vented properly, or your vent is plugged. If things drain and flush ok, you may not need to repair it. However, if you don't get a good flush in your toilet, the venting may be the problem.

How do I fix a toilet that bubbles (small air bubbles from below) and flushes slow, and not completely very often?

Remove the toilet & have a plumbing company power snake
as much of the entire homes waste drain as possible

Maybe clogged inside the home on most runs & also out to
the street, have them do as much as they can, out to the street

Remove all toilets, so they can do good job & you can check &
clean them from under it

Have them run a camera down ALL drains & to the street

Vanquish shower goes hot and cold sometimes

Are the pressure ballance taps? If the shower is on and someone flushes the toilet the water will get hot in the shower,if they are not pressure ballance taps,or if they are the cartridge needs to be replaced in the tap.

Sewage backs into the shower when the toilet is flushed

Obviously the drain line from your toilet to main drain out of the house ( used by upstairs ) has a blockage from your toilet line to "Y" in to main drain line. Depending on how it has been plumbed, there may be a clean-out between the 2 that can be used to remove the blockage. Your drain for shower is piped in to same line as toilet, thus when blocked at other end, overflows to shower. You can try some drain cleaner down shower drain if it will go. You might get lucky and release the blockage before plumber shows up .

Toilet bubbles when tub drains could be from stuck toy in tub overflow?

The bubbling sounds like it's trying to get the air it needs to drain. Kind of like holding your finger over thr the top of a drinking straw and then lifting it out of the water. The water won't drain out until you lift your finger off the straw, allowing air to come in so the water can drain out. If the vent is clogged it could cause this. Squirrels dropped walnuts down mine and clogged it. The vent is the pipe that goes up through the roof, nearest to the toilet and shower. If the shower drain vent line is clogged it is possible that it could be sucking the air it needs through the toilet, sometimes actualling pulling the water out of the toilet. This is not very common but it can happen. If you can get on the roof and get a garden hose into the vent line(s), you can tell if it is clogged because water won't drain, it will come back out. You should be able to turn the water on full blast and it will drain normally if the vent is clear. It's possible that there is a connection between the toys and your problem, and the way you access that drain line is usually thru the wall on the opposite side of the shower controls/drain. I would start by running water down the vent lines on the roof. Good luck.

I have a saniflo and the shower doesnt drain straight away and when u flush the toilet it bubbles up the shower !

This sounds like a HOUSE plumbing issue. Is the line porperly vented? Bubbling sounds like the line needs venting. If you cannot go through the roof, they now make local vents that work.

This sounds as if you have a venting problem if there is no air introduced into system then it cannot drain, even with a pressure pump system, the only other thing is that the pump and grinder system is faulty,if still under warranty contact mftr.

New American Standard Flowise toilet won't flush

You have a sewer issue....it is entirely possible for other things to cause the toilet to loose water as they drain....but only if there is a sewer problem.....that is why there is an air gap between the toilet and the tank...(the trap) now I have been in this industry 35 years and the jet you speak of is in the bottom of the toilet that directs and forces flow down and out of the bowl as do the many small holes on the underside of the bowl lip ( I suspect ...as I have seen it MANY MANY time in the paste) that your old bowl may have had lots of calcium or lime build up (using lime a away occasionally helps) in the holes under the lip as well as other places...which reduces water flow and there by reduces pressure......but what you are describing is definitely sewer related....other water sources causing water to drain...bubbles...etc..I had a similar problem that occurred about once every 2 years in one of my homes...I had a tree root growing into my sewer line ...it would flush but on occasion...debris would get caught and a good plunging would help...but eventually...(twice) I had to rent a 3/4 inch snake from Time Rental...with a cutter head on it and remove the problem. Now your problem sounds exactly like an air gap problem...in that an overflow or something related is causing a vacuum assist when large amounts of water are drained...(ie...tub...washer...).as this happens the force the water carries and the lack of access to air in the flow causes vacuum "tugs" on other water sources attached to the sewer....take of your clean-out cover (usually in the back of the house and if you see water standing in it ....sewer problem....also you can have someone flush the toilet and eyeball the sewer/overflow...to see how it drains.

I hope this helps....good luck...thank you for rating my effort...the Fang.
