I had similar problem. Found this on another website. I did this, and found that my pump was OK. I used a spare electric cord, and powered up the pump outside the washer. My pump spun perfectly. So, I guess I have a bad controller board.

"The pump on a GWL10 is part of the machine's internal power circuit. A bad pump will prevent it from powering-up. A leaking pump that has the windings damaged, gone to high resistance, can also kill the controller board. Get under the machine, remove the pump (no tools needed, pull the wires, find a white plastic latch on the metal mounting plate, hold the latch and rotate the pump body counterclockwise to remove it from the plate). Examine the pump for signs of leaking, and/or darkening or corrosion on the windings (pull off the plastic cover for a better view). Check the pump with a volt-ohm meter, it should read 33 ohms. If not, replace it ( (Lube the rubber seal face on the pump with liquid hand soap or dishwashing detergent when reattaching it.) If the machine is still dead with a new pump, then the controller board will need to be replaced, which is considerably more expensive, so you need to decide up-front if you want to go the distance with the repair. Sears may allow return of the pump, you might check on that."

My 2000 buick lesabre is not charging but the battery and alternator are both good

have you checked the battery with a simple volt meter when the car was running. this will tell you if the alternator is completing the full circut. battery should read 13.5 and higer while running if the alternator is completing the circut. it sounds like a simple wiring problem

I have a HoneywelI Enviracare Elite whole house humidifier. I have no power to the thermostat. The wire goes into the furnace and is attached to a control board. The furnace is working. Humidifer is n

Most of the humidifiers are run by 24 volts AC. disconnect the power wire to stat on circuit board and check there with meter and connect to low voltage ground for 24 volts, I'm assuming the two wires that power the humidistat are red and white.typically red is used for power. most likely you have power if the red for the stat is connected to the W on the board and the heat works, but the humidifier only works while heat is on.the next thing in line is the humidistat , it's a switch so if there is only two wires going to it take them off the stat and connect together, if furnace is on heat and running and stat wires are connected it will send power to water solenoid, if its not working yet the problem lies in the water solenoid if you have 24 volts at the two wires at solenoid.check while disconnected, do not connect those two wires together or a 3 amp fuse will blow on the furnace board. if you have 24 volts there then the valve may be bad or the valve may be stuck or clogged, loosen water supply line to make sure water is getting to valve. I spent many years working in the HVAC industry.

My incoming voltage is only reading 200v, will this stop the unit from running??

If it needs 208 or 220 then yes it will stop the unit from running.Check the voltage at the circut breaker to verify its not a wiring issue.

You may need to get a new circut breaker. Also check a 115 volt outlet if its is also reading low ,like 100 or 105 volts then the power ccompany is cutting power back and theres nothing you can do.

The first thing to check with a multimeter is if the motor is receiving a 120 volts from the control board and the way to do that is put one of your meter leads on a neutral terminal on the board and the other lead to the HEAT terminal on the board, you should get 120 volts. if not the control board is bad and must be replaced. if you are receiving a 120 volts then turn off power to the furnace and set your meter to continuity, Take the white motor lead and put one meter lead to it and then the other meter lead to the other wires from the motor one at a time, u should have resistance if not the motor is bad and must be replaced. Also check the run capacitor connected to the motor, make sure you discharge the capacitor first and then use a meter and check if it;'s working properly.

Circut breaker turned off and turned back on machine will no longer turn on.

Be sure you have 220 volts at the outlet. If you do check voltage on the power cord inside the machine. Be sure the timer is set correct and check the start switch.Does the motor run? If the motor runs and the drum don't turn may be the belt broken or slipped off the pulley. If motor don't run check voltage to motor if you have voltage most likely the motor is bad it can be checked with an ohm meter. Last resort could be timer. Hope some of this helps.

I check the lights on my 92 corvette with the engine off and they seem bright enough, but when driving the car the lights are very dim(headlights, tail lights etc.)

With the ENGINE OFF, the battery is giving it's full power ( or what is left ) to turning on the lights. A whole bunch of power is needed when a ' Vette is running. That being said , sounds to me like the alternator is not producing the required amount of voltage. Hope this helps

My saw wont run only buzz

Sounds like teh capacitor has blown. These machines use normally use induction motors so they need the capacitor to take a charge and give the motor a kick in the right direction. You could CAREFULLY turn the machine on and spin the blade by hand. If it runs now then you will need a new capacitor.

Ruud furnace won't light

first lets try the transformer. With your meter check for 24v on the output side. You cant check to ground on this, you have to check your meter with both wires to the transformer. If this is too complicated just try turning on the A/C, if it comes on, the transformer is good. The problem may be with the time delay relay. try by-passing it and then see what happens. since its an '87 when you say circuit board I assume its a board with all the low voltage wires attached to it right? Or does it have resistors, diodes, and relays molded into it?
