Problem with HP PSC 2355 All-In-One InkJet Printer

HP PSC 2355 incorrect print cartridges error message

I moved to the UK from the USA and brought my printer with me. In the USA I was using had printer cartridges black (94) and tri colour (97) and until today worked fine. The ink ran out so I replaced them both with black (338) and tri colour (343) and now get an error message "one or both print cartridges are not intended for use in this printer" although the packing states they are for this machine.

Any solution will be greatly appreciated

not quiet a solution dugguly but i've just had the same problem in reverse, i moved to the us with same printer, ink ran dry, it won't take hp94. after 3 phone calls and 4 emails with hp i learned that all hp printers sold after 2004 are regionalised, therefore a us printer will NOT WORK with UK bough cartridges and vice-a-versa. the only way round this is to call the HP support and ask to be taken through the step by step guide to reseting the region of your printer to the UK regional setting OR and this is my option, get friends/family in the US to ship US cartridges to you in the UK. Too bad as Tesco do a good line in gneric cartridges - Good luck - mattw

my cartidge is ok but my printer show cartidge error what i do in this condion

Some later machines can detect aftermarket cartridges and refuse to use them. I don't know why HP does not have the same type numbers available in the UK.
