Question about Creda W100FW Front Load Washer

1 Answer

I have had my Creda 1000 Supaspeed- Economy Plus for about ten years. Just one week ago the program panel stopped advancing at the end of first rinse with all the water still in it. I turned it off and manually advanced it, turned it on again and the pump started emptying out. But then it didn't advance to spinning, the pump keeps running and running. I eventually turned the washer off, turned the dial to finish line and took the load out to deal with. This is a problem with all different washing cycles, as I tested them. Any chance this could be repaired? I am in Seattle WA. Or else are there any dealers in the area that could sell me a new washer, as my dryer still works alright?

Crea8tivefeng,

I wish I could be of some help but the same thing just happened to me! I have also had this washing combo for almost ten years. I haven't yet tried looking at it as it just broke. I can be handy but I have never looked at a washing machine before. With out looking at it I wonder if it could be a belt not letting the spin cycle work. Maybe the dial is broken? If you have found a solution to the problem I would love to hear back from you.

My creda simplicty washing machine W200FW) is not finishing programs - it spins and fills but doesn't end - on a rinse cycle it just keeps spinning with water in, on a spin cycle it will drain but on

This is sometimes caused by water not exiting during or at the end of the wash. I have also encountered door lock issue for the same reason.

do the following steps: God bless you
To start test program, press and hold both POWER SCRUB PLUS and RINSE & HOLD program buttons, then turn unit on by pressing ON/OFF button. When program buttons are released, lights above them will flash. To end test program, press ON/OFF button. To check program indicator lights (POWER SCRUB PLUS, REGULAR WASH and RINSE & HOLD), press and hold each program button. When REGULAR WASH program button is pressed, CLEAN light also comes on.
To start testing, press both POWER SCRUB PLUS and RINSE & HOLD buttons a second time. When testing has ended and a fault was detected, the following indicator lights will be lit:
POWER SCRUB PLUS = Heater fault
REGULAR WASH = Water filling fault (over or under filling)
RINSE & HOLD = NTC (temperature sensor) fault ? note circulation motor stops shortly after it started during an NTC fault
To check for heater, high limit or flow switch problems, start testing until heating starts. Using a meter with a current coil, measure current going into dishwasher. If current is ~ 11 A, then heater, high limit and flow switch are OK. If current stays at ~ 1.5-2 A, then heater, high limit or flow switch are faulty.
If water level switch (f1) has failed (opened), REGULAR WASH light will come on and unit will continually fill and drain where testing won't be completed. If flow switch (e5) has failed (opened), water won't heat (to 150?F) and water won?t stop circulating. If NTC probe (f2/f4) has failed (opened), RINSE & HOLD light will come on immediately and testing will end shortly after water has started circulating.
If more than one fault occurs, more than one light will be lit.

No spining ,i remove the brush holder clean it coz the brush stucked in and was not three , then mount it back, check for proper contact to rotor and on it back to normal- In a second fault the bushes was out of use so i purchase a pair and rub it to fit the size as it was not available on market, now it is running fine.

Year old Bosch SHU33A0UC won't start. Lights on

Light's on mean you have power.

Initiate the self test program by doing the following -

To start test program, press and hold both POWER SCRUB PLUS and RINSE & HOLD program buttons, then turn unit on
by pressing ON/OFF button. When program buttons are released, lights above them will flash. To end test program, press
ON/OFF button.
To check program indicator lights (POWER SCRUB PLUS, REGULAR WASH and RINSE & HOLD), press and hold each
program button. When REGULAR WASH program button is pressed, CLEAN light also comes on.
To start testing, press both POWER SCRUB PLUS and RINSE & HOLD buttons a second time. When testing has ended
and a fault was detected, the following indicator lights will be lit:
POWER SCRUB PLUS = Heater fault
REGULAR WASH = Water filling fault (over or under filling)
RINSE & HOLD = NTC (temperature sensor) fault – note circulation motor stops shortly after it started
during an NTC fault
To check for heater, high limit or flow switch problems, start testing until heating starts. Using a meter with a current coil,
measure current going into dishwasher. If current is ~ 11 A, then heater, high limit and flow switch are OK. If current stays
at ~ 1.5-2 A, then heater, high limit or flow switch are faulty.
If water level switch (f1) has failed (opened), REGULAR WASH light will come on and unit will continually fill and drain
where testing won't be completed. If flow switch (e5) has failed (opened), water won't heat (to 150ºF) and water won’t stop
circulating. If NTC probe (f2/f4) has failed (opened), RINSE & HOLD light will come on immediately and testing will end
shortly after water has started circulating.
If more than one fault occurs, more than one light will be lit.

Let me know what you figure out. I can repair these boards most of the time.

Two year old Whirlpool washer started failing to advance from the rinse cycle to the spin cycle a couple of weeks ago. However, the water would drain through and run until you manually advanced the system...

Hi, I just want clarification. Is the washer filling to a point when it starts draining the water before it starts to agitate? If this is the case, check the end of your drain hose and make sure that it is as high as the top of the washer. Make sure that where it goes into the drain pipe that it is a loose fitting so that air will **** back into the drain hose. Please let me know if I have given you the right information or if I have missed what you are describing so I can assist you further.

Thank
Vic

Creda eco washing machine won't spin

It sounds like it needs new carbons fitting in the motor.
It is a fairly straightforward repair.
Remove the top cover, screws at rear, and slide top cover off towards the rear.
The motor is located at the top right right rear, you will see the drive belt.
Slacken the bolt that holds the motor, and push the motor down towards the top of the drum.
You will see the 2 brush holders, they will be either black or white, pull the wires off the holder terminals, and depress the plastic`lug that holds the brushes in place, slide the brushes out of the motor.
fit new genuine Hotpoint carbons, and follow instructions on packaging. Push the leads back on to the carbon terminals.
Tighten up motor, and make sure the belt is reasonably tight.
Job done.
Test on final spin before you refit top cover.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.
