Digital camera problem

White haze around pictures

    I have taken various shots but still with a white border could it possibly be damp got into the camera i havent left it anywhere other than in a cupboard

    Damp can affect sensitive electronics.
    So try putting it in a sealable plastic bag with a suitable desiccant to draw out any moisture.- a suitable desiccant can be Silica Gel, Dry Rice or wheat grains or even salt all of which should be in a cloth bag.
    Put the plastic bag containing camera and desiccant in a warm place- removing battery and card of course- for a couple of days.

    However if you are still in trouble go the the Fuji support site and put to them the problem- it may be a component fault which mean either the camera is replaced or an offer for a reduced price replacement is made - subject to your warranty status

Camera works,all lite up and functions work


Purple haze usually indicates an image sensor failure. However, the fact that it only does it with one of your lenses is strange.

The camera took great pictures then all of a sudden the screen appears as a purple haze -- and the pictures come out as just a purple blurry haze. Adjusting brightness doesn't work. Yet, the shutt


If the LCD displays correctly on previous photos then the problem is more than likely a CCD or associated ribbon connector failure due to moisture/condensation or age/misuse. Good luck with finding a replacement part!

Purple/blueish haze on the screen & pictures I take .Just started


hi,

remove the sd card and battery , then by a hair dryer from the 25 distance through camera

try to fan the tepid air in to the internal device and around the lens gard form out of the camera.

ATT: DON,T FAN IN TO THE CAMERA CLOSELY .

Why am I getting a pink or purple haze when taking picture white or blue sky background.


1. Check the WB (White Balance) setting of the camera. Default is AUTO.

2. In certain environments it can be necessary to set the WB to another value.

I get a pink haze over my images. The haze is visible on the display before taking a picture and on the image after I take a picture.


This sounds like it might be a defective CCD imager. If so, Canon should fix this for you for free, including free shipping both ways. This is regardless of your camera's warranty status. Please check this link for more info.

Picture quality


Try cleaning the lense. May have smudged finger prints that cause light diffusion. Cheers

Screen shows a fuzzy purple haze


unistall it and then restart computer works like a charm. dont reinstall it, cause for some reason it comes back up when restart it
