Question about Compaq Presario C700T Notebook
Tryed to install skype had trouble and ended up removing my software for my webcam how do I get it back??
Sometimes when a driver is not listed on the web page where it's supposed to, you can chat with a live tech. I have done this on trying to get the driver for an internal tv tuner on my laptop but it was not listed. The chat tech was able to give me a direct download link to the files i needed and it fixed my problem. Here is the link to the chat tech on the HP website. http://h50203.www5.hp.com/HPISWeb/Customer/AdviceDisclaimer.aspx?option=activechat&origin=acc&pnid=&printermodel=&chat=®ion=&callfrom=null&ctype=c&pl=KV

Tips for a great answer:
and got to www.google.com In the google search box type: "HP
Support" (without the quotes and put your manufacturer name before Support).
Look for downloads and drivers. Enter your model number and operating
system when requested. Download and install the Webcam drivers.
Try using ManyCams. It comes with software and drivers.
You can always download Manycam and install it. Go to
www.google.com and in the search box type: "download.cnet.com"
(without the quotes). Click on the link to go to the site. When the
site opens look down on the left and you will see a gray area that says Find
Software. Type "Manycam" (without the quotes) in the white
search area then hit the search mirror. When it brings back your results
look for the one that says ManyCam Virtual Webcam. Down load it and
install it. Make sure you remove the check box on any junky programs it
would like to install. You only want to install ManyCam, no additions
whatsoever during the install. ManyCam is totally FREE and easy to use,
and you will always know where your webcam software is.
You can visit ManyCam's website at:
Their website will show you how to use it on Skype or any other application.
