I had the exact same problem about a year ago. I bought a replacement valve from Bodum here in Denmark, where I live.
The cracked valve was made out of some sort of plastic, but the new one I got was cast in metal.
The machine has been working perfectly since.

    Hello
I think I may have the very same problem with my machine. Only, I cannot get hold of spare parts here in Germany after they stopped the production. I even rang Switzerland! Any chance you can give me a phone number or address in Denmark where I could try my luck?
    Many thanks in advance!

Sounds like the same problem I have. The diverter valve is cracked and when the machine pumps, the resistance of the coffee forces the water out of the crack in the diverter where it collects in the body until it overflows at the top of the handle. I have taken it apart and liberally applied Araldite around the affected area. Waiting to see what happens. Very annoyed that Bodum has stopped supporting this machine. It wasnt cheap and now we're on our own.

Nope, araldite didnt hold. Under heat and pressure the araldite began blistering than popped!
Anybody got a granos they are breaking for spares?

Recently mu Keurig started acting funny. When I first turn it on, instead of heating up, it just starts to fill my cup. Can't seem to get the "menu" up either! HELP

I watched a U Tube video, a 10 year explained how to clean the Keurig so it would work. Now all you have to do is go to Bed Bath & Beyond. Buy Clean Cup. It cost $7.99 It is a K-Cup put the pod in your Keurig run twice. Take the Clean Cup pod out, run twice with just water. Take a new thin paper clean to clean your needle.
When you close the lid so you make coffee. Surprise Open the top their is needle that becomes impacted with coffee grounds. Throw away the paper clip run a cup water and look at all the mess come out.

Turn the machine off with the Power button, and pump the pod receptacle latch on top 3-5 times. Turn machine back on. Ta-Da!

Water is not being push through the pod. The water goes through just fine when there is no pod. Seems like a pump is not forcing water through.

When you insert a pod there is a sharp pin like piece of plastic that punctures the pod to allow water to flow into it. Right next to that puncture-pin there is one or more little tubes where the water is pushed out of. Take a paper clip and shove it up there and move it around to unclog it. There are most likely coffee grinds stuck up there. You should put a paperclip up there to loosen the grinds/unclog it and then run it without a pod. You may need to do this a few times but you should notice coffee grinds passing through into the cup with the hot water even when you run it without a pod for a few times. You will notice the water coming out faster and stronger; now you can use it as your normally would.

If this solution is helpful please rate/vote for me.

Thank you.

I do not have a manual. How do I use this thing?

fill the water tank, plug it in, turn it on
open by handle in front, put in a pod, be careful NOT to touch the top there is a NEEDLE to pierce the pod, close it, put your cup under the spout, select cup size and wait. Just takes a minute.
You can also purchase a "my cup" which is a empty gray pod section that replaces the one with the needle and you can then use your own grounds making it cheaper to use.

Water not coming out of dispensing area, goes to drip tray instead Water comming out in drip tray instead of regular way

Try this, if the machine has a pregrind door(usually on the top front) then use the button to tell it you are using pre grind coffee, if water comes out the spout this way then the grind on the grinder is too fine, if it goes out the drain then the coffee passage is blocked, remove the brew unit and check/clear tubes, also clean the spouts on the door of the unit.

Unit will not brew when pod is inserted; works w/o pod however.

This may be one of two issues:
1. The pump is malfunctioning which can cause the internal reservior to not completely fill which causes issues during brewing. My unit dribbled random amounts of water instead of brewing for about a week before the pump died completely.
2. The puncture seal isn't in the right position. Open the Keurig fully so you can see the sharp puncture pin. Very Carefully push the black rubber gasket around it all the way up. Then pull it back down about 1/16". Brew a cup, if the problem continues, try sliding the gasket further down by increments of 1/32".

When the pump is activated by the coffee switch the pressure builds up but no coffee comes out the bottom, hot water leaks over the top of the portafilter and runs down the outside.

Hi there it sounds like the pressurised handle has a blockage in it or your coffee is too finely ground. The handle is spring loaded as well so make sure when you push the handle over to the right that the actual handle comes back to the centre so to open the inside to allow coffee through. If blocked try putting the head of the handle into a solution of descaler.

All the best
