I put drr ram but do not work. i must tomake some fifical connectin in board ?where ?

DDR RAM will only fit in the correct socket. If you are sure the socket is for DDR and the RAM you are using is DDR, then the problem could be the type of DDR you are using.

Check what the maximum GHz speed of RAM your motherboard can accept.

Check what the maximum Mb/Gb of RAM your motherboard can accept.

Check if the RAM is Errror Correcting or Non Error Correcting.

See here for more information on RAM types:

Check the specifications of your motherboard on the manufacturer's website or by typing the name and model number + Specifications into Google.

If the RAM you are using is the correct one for your motherboard, then either the RAM or the motherboard may be faulty.

Reset the BIOS on the motherboard by disconnecting the power cable and removing the small silver CMOS battary for 2 minutes and then replacing it, then test the RAM again.

Go to a computer repaitr shop and let them test the RAM and motherbord for you separately with another computer.

DDR is very old technology, so it is cheap to buy more DDR RAM or a compatible motherboard from

I hope this helps.

What ramm do i need and how much can i put in

You may use either DDR 400 or DDR2 533 RAM. These will be 184 or 240 pin chips, respectively. The maximum RAM for this motherboard is 2GB total, and you may only use one type of RAM; you are not able to combine different speeds of RAM.

How many RAM we can add in Intel 945GCCR motherboard?

That motherboard will support up to 4GB of Ram. The type of ram that system supports is DDR2 533/400 MHz SDRAM. It is important when purchasing ram to try and keep them the same, if you put in a stick of one brand of Ram then make sure you stick with that brand for the rest to avoid any conflicts or potential issues.

Can we ad a ram of 2gb

Yes you can. But you will have to leave the other ram slot open.
your total ram has to add up to 2gb.

so if you put 3gb of ram your computer will not start.

I recommend selling that 2gb and get two 1gb instead or buying a motherboard that supports 4gb max.

I need to know how much and what type, RAM

The average desktop motherboard has tested support for 4GB of RAM. Look at the RAM in there now, and go to an electronics store. Go to the clerk and say you need this kind of RAM. It should have a little serial code on it somewhere.
You could probably put more than 4GB of ram in w/o anything bad happening.
