Right click on "my computer" go to "manage" select "Device manager " there you will see the unknown device option then uninstall it and then on top you will see the magnifying tool which searches for new hardware click it now it will detect your camera and install the drivers automatically if it is plug and play device. If not install the drivers from cd that you got with your camera .this will work 100%.
