I have a 1983 zenith space command projector big

i have a 1983 zenith space command projector big screen tv that rie up out of the console. it started to make spark arcing sound. i took the back panel off and saw sparks firing off a unit to the left side of the tv, looked like it controle the projectors, jut by looking at the red tubed wires. i unpluged for about 6 months and tried it again. now all it doe is turn on for a split second and turns off. whats up and what can i do to fix it and where or what secondary parts can i get for it.
