VIA is a chipset company.
The VIA P4M800CE is the Northbridge chip, of the motherboard chipset.
The VIA VT8237R is the Southbridge chip, of the motherboard chipset,

The Northbridge chip is covered by the aluminum finned Heatsink, below the Processor.
The Southbridge chip has no Heatsink, and is exposed.

How to run windows 7 with ah3450 grafic card on kod p4x266 motherboard?

The MSI PM8m-V Motherboard has the Via P4M800 and Via VT8237 chipsets.

The website for MSI Does not list any drivers for Windows 7 for your motherboard. But since this is a common Via chipset you should be in luck.

A lot of driver support for VIA chips is built into Microsoft® Windows® 7 (32- and 64-bit).

VIA Hyperion Pro drivers

The VIA Hyperion Pro drivers contain all of the main platform drivers for VIA chipsets. The current release of these drivers is included in Windows 7, so at this time there is no need for a VIA Hyperion Pro package that supports Windows 7. However, as updates occur, a package will be released when needed.

You shouldn't need them, but to download the VIA Hyperion PRO Drivers click on the following link:

The drivers for your video card the ASUS AH3450/HTP/256M Radeon HD 3450 AGP Card can be found here:

If you still need further drivers for this motherboard you can go to here:

If you still have not found the drivers you need you can go to the MSI website and see if any of the Vista drivers will work for your system.

P4m80-m4 usb giving 1.0 instead 2.0

You have not mention your Operating System(OS) on your PC System.

To get USB 2.0 support for VIA Chipset Mainboard
1. For Win 98 OS, you have to install "VIA chipset USB 2.0 driver"
2. For WinXP OS you must install, at least Service Pack 1, (recommended you install the lastest Service Pack 3) to to get USB 2.0 support.
3. Install the VIA Chipset drivers for your Mainboard ie "VIA Hyperion 4-in-1 driver v5.12A".

Hope it helps.

Regarding via chipset 686c vga driver

You have the brand/model of your motherboard? Go to their website and download it from there. The motherboard company gives you support rather than the chipset since you are the motherboard's customer and the motherboard is the chipset's customer

ASUS VIA KT133 Chipset A7V133-M IDE drivers

Must install motherboard drivers right after you install XP ( chipset is always needed first ) If you use Nvidia drivers or a 4 in 1 make sure you do those first before anything else .

Via p4m266a

Hi boto2, with VIA it's anything but tough. You can get some information at this link. Scroll down to the P4 Series section.

Drivers here. Scroll to the bottom for a picture of the P4M266A

A standard manual ? (if VIA doesn't show one, there is none).

Good Luck!
