Hi,

It sounds like the valve(s) inside the washer are leaking. The spin cycle pumps all the water out like it should, then as it sits, it gradually fills until the water level is high enough to overflow out the drain.

Could be crud from the water or pipes in the valves. There should be screens on the ends of the hoses that connect to the faucets.
Could be the valve failing mechanically, either sticking or the seals failing.
Could be your water pressure is too high, or unregulated, and is forcing its way through the valve.
Could be minerals in the water clogging the valve. If you have mineral water, you will likely know it.
Could be a valve IS completely stuck open, but the faucet(s) are turned way down so water doesn't fill the machine very quickly (possible if someone turned the hot water way down so as to make not-very-warm water for the "warm" settings).

If it were an electrical failure, the valve would either stay full on or full off, and you'd notice - it would fill up really fast and you'd hear the water running, or it wouldn't fill at all.

After you completes a wash, try turning OFF the hot, OR cold, faucet to the washer. You can find out if it is the hot, cold, or both valves leaking. For that matter, does the washer fill with hot, warm, or cold water? Can you hear it running? Can you see it dripping into the tub?

OR - less likely, and more problematic...

it is possible the drain is connected incorrectly, either siphoning water back into the tub or allowing drain water from somewhere else to run into the washer instead of down the drain. If this were the case, likely you'd be complaining about nasty, foul, sewage sorts of stuff and not just "water" filling the machine.

Let me know, if need further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!

I have a Intertherm Heat Pump system in my Manufactured Home, Model # E2EB-015HB; Serial # E2E0121006692. Condensation is forming on the Coils and the water fills up the area under the coils, drips down...

There is a drip pan bit the middle is open to allow air flow through the coil and into your ducting. If the drain for the drip pan is clogged it will fill up and overflow onto your furnace and then to the floor. If that is what is happening then clean out the drain tube running down the front of the furnace and it should empty the drip pan and solve your problem.

You also need to have your furnace checked for water damage in the electrical components, if these have gotten wet then you run the risk of a fire. Please consider calling an expert in your area to inspect your furnace and make sure the drain line is clear.

Our machine keeps dripping water once load is finished. We have turned off water and checked hoses as well as the water inlet valve. Everything looks fine. It is only when the hot water is on, I shut...

I would replace the inlet valves. Even though the issue is only a drip now, the failing hot water inlet will drip enough water to overflow and flood your floor if left unattended. The failure code you see is because the washer senses the water connections. It is telling you that there's no hot water available. Replace the valve- soon.

Good luck.

Dripping showerhead mirasport 8.5 kw - shower is approx 15 yr old when switched to off continues to dribble then drip for hours after

It is normal for instantaneous electric showers to drip after shutting down. However, yours sounds as if the water stop valve is failing.
You could have this replaced ( or even cleaned out, sometimes they can be affected by calcium build-up on the seal) but realistically it's probably best to consider unit replacement....15 years is an excellent service span for an instantaneous electric shower.
Hope this helps.

Why does my maytag fridge drip water around the freezer door?

Freezer door frames have a small heating element in them to stop that happening. Your element is failed.

Torn gasket seals just cause frost inside, but also cause the compressor extra stress if the seal is bad. This causes the compressor to keep running as yours does. They are cheap to buy and easy to fit.

With a 12 year old one, it is probably time for a new one. The new ones are more energy efficient and are cheaper to run.

you need a new fill valve, even if you ulplug the washer does it still drip? If yes then you do need a new fill valve. Just turn water off at the wall so your machine don't overfill.

LSR8233JQ washer water drips into tub from fill port

Yes the fill valve has been damaged by the silt. If you remove the hoses from the valve you will probably notice that there is either one or both steel screens missing from valve body. You cant remove the screens if they get clogged.
