Question about Panasonic KX T7436 Corded Phone KX-T7436
Each button is assigned by programming. It also has to have a light to light up :-)
If you're programming an extension, then press PROGRAM 99 the button and dial 1 plus the extension number. If a line, dial 0 plus the line number. All programs are ended with STORE.
Works for me.

Hi,Most phones will have that option in the display settings. You can mess with the lighting and timers on the main lcd, the front lcd (or led), and the keypad. If that doesn't work, there's most likely something wrong with the phone. Take it in to a corporate store to get it replaced with a working model.
