Question about Boating
I have a 2002 ox66 200 hp engine. Runs fine but if you let it idle for any length of time the warning buzzer comes on and says overheat. The motor pisses fine. If you turn the engine off and let it sit for awhile then start it back up you can take off without lugging down and the warning buzzer going off. I sent it to the dealer and they charged me 300.00 and said that the oil tank on the motor was low so all they did was flip the manual button on the engine and it pumped it full. The oil pump always keeps it full now but I still have the same problem...checked all the hoses etc still have the same problem!
I Would Fit A New Impeller Add A Further 500ml's Oil To The Caddy Tank And Then Give It A Test Then Let Me Know What Gives

Also check manifold vacuum at idle the best you can hold an idle. I have run into timing belt being one tooth off and engine still ran fine. But the vacuum was low that's how I could tell the belt was a tooth off.
