Question about Printers & Copiers
Canon photocopier seriesiR1018/iR1080 has a jam in the side tray where it can no longer pull any papers but just to make some queer noise in the process is it the problem with the drum unit or its the pair rubber that pulls the paper that is off the shaft track because it makes a shaft/tractor like noise !
so what should i do to rectify the problem please?
1- you must remove the jam paper first
2- set the tray to LETTER or LEGAL not A4
A4 is european size not used in the U.S
Make sure the paper adjuster in the tray is touching the end of the paper size, also there should be some markings in the tray.
The noise is coming from the jammed paper, it is trying to feed itself but is stuck.
