Thnaks for your response. No the reservoir does not leak when removed and placed on its own. What is the "O" ring. Is it possible to buy this as a replacement part?

Water solenoid is not closing all the way. Could be lime scale build up in the solenoid. Try cycling the machine a few times so the water solenoid activates on and off...

If you remove the tank, does it leak? If yes then check the spring loaded valve under the tank carefully Also check the O-ring for damage,as in most of the leakage cases its because of the damaged O-ring
thanks, keep updated and please rate the solution positively.

Type of needle for janome mini compact

Hi
Ask Jan on the Janome website.
http://www.janome.com/index.cfm/LearningCenter/AskJan
Or try on the forums there.

I would imagine that Janome universal needles would be fine for this machine.
Thicker needles are required for sewing thicker fabrics.

I bought a 2 gb compact flash card. Are these not

It appears that the 9700 works with Type II CFD's.

I think that the 2 Gb cards are ULTRA II's which likely will not work with your 9700. The 512's are getting harder to find as well...

I have two bunn's and two different problems. First one is a GR10-b and Date code is 04-1402 and it has been repaired once. The main element is out because it don't heat up and the front panel doesn't...

The first one is probably lost power from a blown fuse or bad switch or something. I can't give you a 'generic fix' for it. Can you open things up and troubleshoot a bit? Same thing with the other one that is leaking water, this is going to have to be opened up and the leak will be obvious from some fitting or something and will need to be tightened up. I can help you with testing procedures if you can troubleshoot a little electrical for the first one. You may be able to see the obvious leak on the other one when you get things open.

Using bigger than 64 MB compact Flash Cards

I have the same machine and if you watch the dvd included with the machine it says to use a MC no bigger than 1 gb. I use a 512mb and it works fine. Your computer may not have a MC port so you will have to purchase a memory card reader which you can purchase on ebay or at Fry's for around 10 dollars. All the files need to be saved on the MC card as a SEW or JEF file. When you go to your machine touch the emb. key then the disc key and you should see your files. You may also need to turn the page; sometimes it save it on different pages.

Downloading embroidary designs for the Janome MC 350E

Firstly, format your compact flash card on your embroidery machine. This is presuming you have embroidery files in your jef format your machine reads on your computer. Place your compact flash in the compact flash card reader writer connected to your computer, open the compact flash card in your computer, open the file emb5. Now you can simply copy and paste a design from your computer to your flash card. It works for me. Goodluck.
