Make sure you are using resistor plugs, have a proper ground in the system, have good plug wires and are connected to the correct power line.

Static coming through the speakers even though the radio is unplugged and the fuse is takin out what worng?

After I read this whole post and the solution by other guy. I came to my own conclusion is that you may have an exposed wiring that causes the static sound out of speakers. Try to look for bare wiring that may have touch each other as well as touching the metal of the vehicle. Try to disconnect the wires at the speaker, and see if it works. If it does works, then you know that you have wiring issue there.

2001 Toyota Corolla engine light is on, speedometer is not working and engine noise coming through radio speakers?

I would first check the computer for trouble codes. The speedo problem could be the speed sensor in the transmission.

My advent notebook has started to make a very loud buzzing noise intermittently, much too loud to be caused by mobile phone interference etc?

If the noise isn't coming from a speaker, you could need to replace the fan on your computer. The bearings for it might be busted, another issue could be the speaker wire isn't fully connected internally, which you could fix by popping off the top power panel area and fastening the speaker wire in it.

I hope this helps, if not I apologize. The question isn't super vague, but it still has holes in it. :) I can to help more if you post more about the issue.

It could be a ground wire. I'm curious did the previous owner install the radio? Sometimes people just install a radio to the nearest power, ground and remote wire without any precautions on what they tap in to. Part of what you are hearing is alternator and/or ignition noise. Between the two noises my concern is that the installer might have tapped into a blower motor wire for either power or ground. The noise itself can be fixed with a 20 amp noise filter such as this one http://www.amazon.com/Heavy-Automotive-Noise-Filter-270-055/dp/B000T306DY but I suspect a bigger issue. Either you or someone knowledgeable with car audio installation should pull that radio out and check all the connections and where they are tapped in to and install it properly. The engine noise itself can be fixed with the noise filter. This popping sound I feel is a short from mis installation. I have seen cars get dash fires from this. I never like to worry people but I am also honest. I would tend to this soon. Good luck.

The basics, your battery is used to provide power to the starter. Once the engine is running the alternator then provides current to recharge the battery and run all of your electrical components. so I would suspect the starter is not working to start the engine.

Mine did the same thing then I found the solution by accident. After reading a post about moving the sub to different positions and making sure connections were tight to the sub , I loosened the right speaker connection screws to the sub and noticed the humming stopped completely . I know it sounds crazy but it worked for me.

No sound - computer message says can't locate audio visual. Computer had been previously wiped clean because of a virus. Can I download and reinstall software? Make of speakers VS-2121?

It's not your speakers that are the issue most likely (as long as they are round ends with sort of a point (not sharp just like a .5" length cylinder like .25" thick) instead of a rectangular USB connection. If you post more information about your computer we could probably direct you to the drivers you need to download in order to resolve the issue.
