One way is to create a column next to the addresses then fill the new column with a sngle comma in each cell. Then merge the address and comma columns together to achieve the required result.

It can only be that your email address on one device is different to the other device. One letter, number, or a comma instead of a period will cause it to fail.
andrew.taylor@ is not the same as andrew,taylor@ all because of comma used instead of a period, and yet it looks the same.

How do I add an email address to "other contacts" in my gmail contacts?

That probably depends upon the 3rd party. You MIGHT try exporting your contacts list (as a .csv, or Comma Separated Values, file). You can then open that file with Excel or OpenOffice Spreadsheet and change it around however you like. Your 3rd party software may be able to import the .csv file, or you may be able to reimport it into gMail and have it automatically rearrange your contacts.

How do i email multiple addresses

In your compose mail window, find the column where it asks for email addresses. there you give email addresses with a comma(,) between each address.
Then what ever email you send it goes to all the email addresses you have specified.

There was a problem! Please check all email addresses. Looks like one of them may not be formatted correctly.

That error message displays when there is some technical problem with one or more recipient email addresses or the punctuation between addresses (in the "To", "Cc" or "Bcc" field). If you have multiple recipients, it may take some time to identify the error.

It's often difficult to analyze email addresses in the small field on the Yahoo Mail web page. I would suggest copying those addresses (highlight the entire field, then right-click+Copy) and pasting into a blank text editor such as Notepad (right-click+Paste).

You can then review the list of recipient addresses more easily. You may wish to insert line breaks, so you can look at each address on a separate line.

Some things to check:

(1) Make sure each email address is a fully qualified address (with user name, followed by "@" sign, and then domain name - no blank spaces in the address).

(2) Quotation marks are not needed; but if you wish to use them, make sure there is exactly one completed set (no more, no less) - with one quote mark at the start of the address, and one mark at the end of that address (like this: "someone@somedomain.com")

(3) If a recipient is listed by name as well as address, make sure the email address is enclosed in angle brackets, like this:
novaweb_25.gif
Quote marks are not needed; but if you wish to use them, they should surround the entire name & address combination, like this:

(4) Make sure there is just one comma or just one semi-colon (and no other punctuation mark) between each address in the list of recipients.

(5) Make sure there are no extraneous characters in the recipient list. Every character should be part of an email address (or combined name+email), or a comma/semi-colon separating the addresses.

Sending text message to multiple emails from my contact list

when you add address it should ask you where from. say contact list (for this you must have email addresses of contacts in the phone book, then only will it work). Select as many as you want. If you do not have emai adds in the phone book then I am afraid you will have to write them seperated by comma. then send.
