What does it mean when PO8 and H7 are flashing on worcester boiler dial

Either on the inside of the door or in your manual will have a list of all the codes. You could try turning the unit off, not while its in operation, and turn back on in 20 seconds. But first find the meaning of the codes, or faults. They will be listed. Unless the code is stupid simple, contact a pro. CO and fires kill if you don't know what you're doing

I need to turn the temperature down on my Hydrotherm oil-fired burner. How do I do that?

On the front of the unit on the upper right is a grey box. Remove cover. Inside there should be a notched steel dial to adjust the water temperature.
Hope this helps.

Fan control printed circuit board

Printed Circuit Boards are the 'brain' of the boiler. They control every action and can be found in most appliances from boilers to warm air units and fires. They are often referred to as a PCB, control box, mother board, driver board, sequence board, ignition board or power board. For more info you can visit at http://dferrantielectronics.co.uk/

Boiler heating -loose connector on satronic control box

TUFF ONE, WHEN I HAVE COME ACROSS THIS I TAKE A GOOD FLASH LIGHT AND A PAIR OF READING GLASSES AND LOOK FOR THE PIN THAT IT GOES TO, IF YOU LOOK AT THE SURFACE THAT THE CONNECTOR GOES TO YOU WILL SEE A SCATCH, TRY TO TAKE ONE CONNECTOR OFF THEN YOU CAN SEE THE MARK IT LEAVE AND LOOK FOR THAT MARK ON THE OTHER PINS, ALSO MOST WIRES COME OFF IN THE GENERAL AREA OF THE PIN, OM TYHE END OF THE CONNECTOR SQUEEZE IT WITH PLIERS TO TIGHTEN UP WHEN YOU PUT BACK ON, GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

Riello oil burner RDB with red plastic cover at the front wont ignite. I've tried bleeding the valve. The motor seems to make an electrical humming noise for about 12 secs, then the system attempts to...

The motor should spin when the boiler is switched on. One end of the motor spins the fan the other end works the pump. The control box then starts the transformer that starts a spark. The control box then opens up the oil. The boiler should then light if any of the above or the boiler does not light, the boiler will go to lockout.
From what you say the motor is not spinning, thus it could be the motor or more like the pump.

YOU SHOULD NOT PLAY WITHE THE PUMP

If the wrong setting is made it could 1 burn out the back of your boiler 2 go to soot and the boilers in an hour would be filled up and become a fire risk. 3 not start at all if the setting is too low it is a fine line to get it to work and needs the right tools.

oil eng.
