Indesit IWC6105 Keeps filling with water and lights flashing

Almost certain to be a power pcb failure due to the fact it fills and drains at the same time this is a regular fault symptom on indesit laundry appliances. Word of caution tho inde pcb's are generic to a range and the software must be programmed via a lap top to your specific appliance so you can't just order a pcb and pop it in sorry

Indesit iwb5113 keeps filling up

The water level in your, and most other, washing and dishwashing machines is controlled by an air pressure switch that senses water level by the rising air pressure compressed in the pressure, (level), switch body itself. This air pressure is usually transmitted by a thin rubber tube on the bottom of the washing machine drum, or sump hose. As the water gets higher in the drum, air is compressed in the level switch until it operates, and turns the fill valves off. The pressure switch is always mounted at the top of the washing machine cabinet - look for a circular switch with the thin rubber or plastic tube fitted into the bottom. What can happen is if the rubber tube rubs against moving parts in the washer, it can get a hole worn in it - so the air does not compress and the water doesn't turn off.. You will have to examine the tube very carefully to find holes like this. Alternatively, the tube could have come off, or blocked with limescale at the bottom end - try removing the tube at the pressure switch end and blowing through it - any blockage must be removed. A last, rare, possibility is the rubber diaphragm in the pressure switch is leaking - but very very rare. Most modern machines have an electronic backup that measures fill time in case the pressure switch fails. If your machine floods, it doesn't have this.

Lf keeps coming up and it says to add garment , i keep adding and have wet unwashed clothes

Hi there,

Well this problem seems in the pressure switch, if the water fill time exceeds ten minutes, the water valves are turned off and LF is flashed.

The water level switch, is responsible for regulating the water fill level. It does this through a plastic tube which runs from the switch in the control console down to the side of the outer tub, near the bottom . The tube is filled with air. As water enters the tub it also enters the tube. As water climbs inside the tube, it pushes on the air trapped inside and increases the air pressure. When the air pressure reaches a certain level, it triggers the switch. So you can check the air tube for kinks, breaks or damage. The tube should also be free of water. The tubing should be securely connected to the bottom of the outer tub and to the bottom of the water level switch. If there is water present, the switch must be replaced.

The water level switch has three connectors. You need a ohms meter to check the switch.
Please post comments if you need more help or information......

Good Luck!!

Thanks

Ariston Margherita ald 1 40 Error code H2O

H2O is the symbol for WATER and probably indicates a WATER related fault on your machine. A pressure switch is the normal way the machines 'sense' when the level is sufficient. Overfilling suggests a faulty switch, which will need to be replaced by a technician. Also, ensure that the machine drains as it should, if not, the pump filter may be blocked.

Bearings on a indest wie 167 washing machine

You can download a user manual for your m/c, but not a repair manual, Go to>
www.indesit .co.uk
Follow the links. To remove the spider, remove the rear panel, remove drum belt, undo drum pulley, you may have to heat the screw holding the pulley, undo all screws that you can see holding the spider to drum rear.
Withdraw spider, you may have to use some force to pull it off.
Fit new bearings or spider, and reassemble..
plz rate this solution.

Indesit WIE 147 - Display 'F-03' fault

Indesit washing machine error code 3 (F03) On certain Indesit washing machines, if the on off light is flashing 3 times, with a slight pause, followed by flashing a further 3 times, or if it is didplaying F03 you have an error code that is explained as follows -
NTC fault - check Thermistor and module connections.
The NTC is the thermistor, which is a modern-day thermostat. It’s inserted into a tube in the heating element and is filled with heat sensitive crystals that change their electrical resistance according to their temperature. By knowing what electrical resistance the crystals have at given temperatures they can tell the water temperature.
With this fault the NTC is either faulty, or there’s a dodgy connection to or from it or there’s a connection problem where it connects to the main PCB.
It’s not something you can easily fault find yourself unfortunately, apart from if there was an obvious broken wire.

Drum filling up

Could be anything, Programmer, Pressure switch, etc.. Depending on age of machine. If more than a few years old I would check to see if the pressure switch tube, or reservoir, is blocked with powder or gunge. Tom.
