Where it is and what is involved depends upon what engine brand, model and type or spec number. Since you don't have any of these listed, it would be difficult if not impossible to offer you any advice

Ground wire from key switch starts burning when i try to start riding lawnmower BATTERY GROUNDED GOOD

You have a ground issues somewhere of where a wire may have rubbed the frame and is shorting out, wrong solenoid (frame ground verse wire ground) or a starter issue.

Take the starter off and test it with a good battery and jumpers to make sure its working correctly. Second...start tracing your wires back to the solenoid and then to the switch looking for bare or loose wiress.

An MTD riding mower is belt driven. Usually 2 belts on a variable pulley ( excepting hydrostatic drives). Replace both belts.

Have MTd 42'riding lawnmower. It was running well, I turned it off the machine, took break and now it just clicks at the solenoid. I have replaced solenoid, battery, and now it still clicks. What do you...

Try jumping directly to the starter. If it still won't turn, try placing your hands flat on the screen and turn it back and forth sharply to try to dislodge the starter gear from the flywheel. They can, on rare occasion, get wedged in the flywheel and not turn. If none of the above work, I'd remove the starter and bench test it.

I have changed the starter, solenoid and battery it ran fine last year now I can't get it to do anything. I checked the battery and the charge is fine. The fuse is ok also I changed it to make sure. Last...

Can't get it to do anything is not a very precise description of what the problem is so I will take a guess and say that the problem is that when you turn the key there is no click and no attempt by the starter to begin spinning. This would tend to indicate a problem like a wire that came loose or a bad key switch. You have done a lot of work on it so re-check your work and make sure it was all done correctly (after 30 years I still make mistakes. NOBODY is perfect).

I have a MTD Yard Machines riding lawnmower that keeps blowing the fuse from the ignition to the starter. What could be the problem? The ignition switch itself or maybe a bad wire?

One problem that i can think of off the top of my head is that the magnets under the flywheel are in direct contact with the stator under the flywheel, which if that be the case, both would need to be replaced
