We've concluded that you can't take this massager apart without destroying it. I wish someone had posted a solution. My husband is in the process of shaking it and just left to get the hammer! Good luck, I'm afraid we won't have to worry about this problem after tonight.

Now that we've ripped it apart, I can help you. There are three screws that hold the head in place. There are covers on these screws that are virtually impossible to remove. We finally removed them by heating up a small screwdriver and poking it through the cover and pulling it out. You might figure out a better method, but once you remove the covers, you can take the long screws out and remove the head. The rattle that you hear is the piece that fits on rod (the propeller for lack of a more technical name). The propeller came off the rod and rattles around. If we shook ours, it would occasionally quit rattling for a few seconds. This is when the propeller would align itself, however without being able to push it back on the rod completely, it would come back off. I will say that these are very well built... tough to destroy even when you are trying. I hope this helps. Unfortunately we pryed a few pieces off of ours before figuring out how to get into it, but we may get it put together enough to use. Good Luck. Now that you know the secret, you should be in good shape.

It sounds like the flow restrictor may have come loose and be rattling around in their. There is no way to open that shower head that I am aware of. If it really bothers you, buy new one.

Handle is loose

I had the same problem and had been trying to fix it by getting to the screws on the inside which I wasn't able to do. When the screw came completely loose this morning and I could hear rattling around inside the handle, I realized I needed to get inside the handle to fix it. I pried the handle apart using a couple of thin screwdrivers at the back end. If the nut is completely off, look also for a washer which goes on first, a lock-washer which goes next, then the nut. There was just enough room to work with a pair of needle-nose pliers to get it tightened up.

Thump thump noise

A loud rattling/thumping is usually a broken internal roller support rod. You can check by: UNPLUGGING the vacuum, flipping it over, taking the screws out of the roller brush cover plate and removing the plate. It goes back together the same way. If you are nervous about taking it apart, take phone pics step by step as you go so you can see exactly how it came apart for re-assembly. After removing the plate you will see the belt. Pull the roller forward, it will slide out of it's grooves and come out. Slip the roller out of the belt & shake it. It shouldn't rattle, if it does..it's broken inside. Many parts are available at Walmart. If the belt comes off it just slips back on over a metal pin further in the back-you can see it. Use a flat blade screw driver to slip it back on. Slip the new or old one back unside the belt, then back into the grooves till in place. Then the cover & it's screws. You should be back in business!

Sounds like a rattle under the van when stopped or idleing

It is most likely an exhaust heat shield or a catalytic converter that is breaing apart inside. Get underthe van when it has cooled off and "thump" the exhaust with your fist to see if you can locate the rattle. Often, the heat shield welds break where they are attached to the catalytic converter. I have fixed many of them by taking 2 or 3 large screw-type hose clamps and screwing them together to make them long enough to reach all the way around the catalytic converter and tighten them down to stop the rattle. If the noise sounds like it is coming from INSIDE the converter, you will have to replace the catalyst. (or ignore the noise)

Loose part at the power input point.

it comes apart take out the 4 screws in the back. you'll need something to pry the back off .start on the side with something thin to unsnap the 2 halfs then use your fingers. after openning you'll need to resolder the powerport back on with a soldering iron and new solder. 4 spots hold the powerport on. it will be stronger than before. mine worked fine after.

Taking apart a JBL N24

I removed the tweeter and found that I could stick two fingers through the hole and touch the back of the speaker. I was afraid that if I applied to much force I would break something, but after seeing a schematic of the speaker I realized there was nothing else attached except the wires. So, I used some muscle. It took a lot of pressure, but the speaker finally popped out. I was able to tighten the one screw that held down the circuit board in the back and re-assembled the speaker. Problem fixed.
