Do you mean files like Recycler and System Volume Information?

If so, these are hidden files which windows puts on every drive.

You can see them by opening the folder for your memory card on the PC and going to Tools->Folder Options... Pick "View" and untick the box that says "Hide protected operating system files"

You should now be able to see the extra files and delete them. Be aware that if you use the drive in the PC, the files will re-appear.

Lastly, remember to turn this setting off afterwards - The files were hidden for a reason :)

Take out and put back in several times to clean the contacts on the SD card. You can download SD card file recovery software too.

I have music on my micro sd card but my phone (LG EnV3) says I have no music. What do I do? I can't see the pictures I put on it either.

Mine just did this-said I have no music-ha!

Theres 1415 songs in there pal.

I took the sd out, turned off the phone, and then turned it back on without the sd in it to be sure it would turn back on, and all was fine.

I then turned it off again without the sd card in it. Inserted the sd card then turned it in on again and it loaded all the music on the sd card right back onto the Env3. Strange.

I am trying to get music on my lg env 1 and when i download songs onto my micro sd card and put it back in my phone it doesnt work.

Im not for sure if this will help, but i know if u are not using the software that vorizon sells for that phone, the misic files that u load to ur sd card are not in the right format for the phone. the software causts $20 through vorizon, and comes with a usb cable to download the music directly to ur phone. hope that helps.

Downloading to a zte c79

i JUST bought this phone, and got very frustrated trying to download music into the music player. Drag and drop your music files from your pc into your "my music" folder. They DO NOT show up right away, this is why i got pissed. I figured I was doing something wrong. I had the card in my phone, and my phone plugged into the usb port. They finally showed up on my phone after I took the card out and put it back in. As far as saving them for ringtones, I am pretty pissed that I can't do it. I am thinking Metro wants us to pay for them. That is such b&*%$#*!

Micro sd card not reading songs

Yes, Brother there is one probability that your sd is formatted in fat-32 file system. For that i would like to say phone can only read FAT not FAT-32. Go to my computer, select sd drive properties and format it with FAT file system. Then load the files and you will be able to see it in your phone. If it works don't forget to vote here. Very Simple Solution. I have the same phone.
First you need a Data Cable that connects your phone to a USB port on your PC.
Secondly, go to http://idenphones.motorola.com/iden/support/software/html/mp3_software.html
and download the mp3 loader.
Its very easy to use. good luck.
btw, I found a data cable on ebay for $5

SD card in MP3 player

Was the SD card in the MP3 player when you loaded the songs or did you load them some other way?  You may have to first put the SD card in the MP3 player first, then load the songs onto the player.
