GO into 'Manage Computer' by right-clicking on My Computer and selecting the 'Manage' option from the drop-down menu.
Select 'Mouse' from the list of components and click on 'Properties'
Uninstall the mouse driver.
Shut down computer. Unplug mouse.
Reboot computer. Plug in mouse.
System should recognize mouse and automatically reinstall the driver.

Jeanette,
Which OS is it running?
Has the keyboard/machine suffered any trauma?

If not, mouse to updates in your OS and see if any dates and /or times correlate to the issue. You may be able to roll back any of those by doing a RESTORE to a date prior to the problem.

If you do not understand how to do this yourself I or someone may still be able to help you but it will be OS specific.

I accidentally uninstalled a program and now I don't have wireless connection.

If you cannot reinstall the wireless driver or download the driver from your laptop manufacturer's WEB site then -
Go to Restore and select a restore date prior to when you deleted the wireless driver.

Mouse has gone crazy, you click on arrow and it will keep on clicking,it start draging while crossing web page,it highlite every thing blue

Try booting up in safe mode then Restore your system back to a date and time before you came across that web page and started having problems.

Turn off the computer, then hit the power button to turn itback on and immediately start hitting the F8 key repeatedly until you see SAFEMODE. Take the Safe Mode option and let it boot up. Safe Mode will lookdifferent to you, the screen will be darker and the icons bigger, this isnormal.Click Start/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore
Select a Restore Point (date and time) that is before you started having problems. You don't have to use the restore point that is shown just select option to see more restore points. When System Restore finishes, reboot your computer.Report back and let us know if it is solved or not.

How to fix a trackpad that quit working as well as any external mouse

Have you considered doing a "System Restore"? You could just restore back just previous to the date when the mal-function began. I bet that would fix it, and you don't loose most personal stuff.

Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - System Restore

If this has helped, please take a sec to rate me. Thanks!

My lenovo machine autometically gets switched off while i'm working with it what will i do???????????????

Hi,

Do you get any error code or a blue screen error before it shuts down?

Do you notice any overheating ?

You can also check the power settings for the system on the control panel, it might be set to turn off the system at a certain time.

Hope you find this useful.

Thanks

I am using keyboard mouse and the cursor jumps when I am typing.I have a Toshiba Mini Labtop with windows 7 and explorer 9. It is brand new.

1. Open the Start Menu.

A) Click on All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, and System Restore.

2. Open the Control Panel (All Items View).

A) Click on the Recovery icon.
B) Click on the Open System Restore button.

A 'System Restore' window will appear. Here you will have to check "Restore computer to an earlier time'

A) Click on the Next button

Now you will find a window with Dates, Description and Type,

Note: It is better if you could remember from which date you are facing the issue, try to select a date prior to that date.

The detail of that particular date should show "System Checkpoint" and time on the right hand side box. Select that date.

Now, Click on Next and System Restore will start. Click on the Finish button and windows will take a reboot.

Auto removal of any program or file downloaded online by my pc and inability to remove previously installed program on my nec laptop

If you have trouble removing a program - click on control Panel - Add Remove Program and then click to highlight the program you want to delete then click Remove and follow the prompts.

If this does not work then you can Restore to a date prior to installing the unwanted program. To do this click on Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - System Restore - Restore My computer to an earilier date - Next and select a date prior to the installation of the unwanted program.
