While driving, the dash lights will flicker and the guages will flicker for a few seconds then go back to normal. Any ideas?

We have a 97 T&C AWD... same thing happened to us. We had to bought a new Body Control Module... that didn't fix it. We ended up buying a new insturment cluster. Hope that helps some.

My lights are flickering like the security system is going off but will still start

If your lights are flickering like a security system is going off, but your car will still start, it is possible that there is an issue with your car's electrical system. Here are a few possible causes of this issue:
  1. Weak battery: A weak battery can cause flickering lights and may still have enough power to start your car.
  2. Loose or corroded battery cables: Loose or corroded battery cables can cause a poor connection between the battery and the car's electrical system, resulting in flickering lights.
  3. Faulty alternator: The alternator is responsible for charging the battery and powering the car's electrical system. If the alternator is faulty, it may not be providing enough power to keep the lights from flickering.
  4. Electrical grounding issue: An electrical grounding issue can cause the electrical system to behave erratically, including flickering lights.
If you are experiencing this issue, it is recommended that you take your car to a qualified mechanic for a diagnosis and repair. They can perform tests to determine the cause of the issue and provide the necessary repairs to resolve it.

Van guages started flickering, speedomiter would rise and fall.all a sudden van died.batery is fine ,no electricity, no lights .is this the computer,or should i look else where,,thanks..jh

Hey JH..my name is Keith...most people think its the computer..and it just could be..but my guess is the real ignition switch..and not the one you stick the key in..the one you stick a key in is refered to the ignition switch..but its not..it just a lock..and the real ignition switch is in the steering collum..but it controls all of your electrical..and is pretty in-expensive to have replaced..i hope this has helped..if not..write me back
