Question about Kyocera KX2 Cellular Phone

Alarm beeping My Kyocera phone won't stop beeping!? My kyocera phone, through US Cellular, beeps about every five to ten minutes, though its not consistent and will sometimes go for awhile without beeping. There are no text or voice messages, i'm not roaming, i have full service the whole time, the battery is recharged. If i turn it on vibrate, the single beep is replaced by two quick vibrates. Everything on the screen looks normal, except it says "1X Active" which I'm not sure what that means. I've been through the settings several times and cannot come up with anything that stops the beeping. Any ideas?

Re: Alarm beeping

Not sure, but the 1x active may have to do with some time of alert that you may have accidentally set in your calendar or alarm clock. Check your calendar and alarm for active alerts.

My Kyocera wildcard beeps once every few minutes. It started after I opened a voice mail. What's up?

Mine suddenly started doing that and nothing worked until I actually removed the battery for a few minutes, then put it back. No more beeps.

Kyocera lingo..5 minute

My Kyocera phone has been beeping every 5 minutes for several days. The only way I could make it stop was to turn my phone to silent, but then I missed all my calls and texts. I finally called my carrier and they told me how to fix it. I had to take the battery out while the phone was turned ON. After removing the battery, I had to hold the send button down for 15-20 seconds (while the battery was still out), then replace the battery and turn the phone back on. This apparently resets the phone. I waited 30 minutes before posting this solution, and the phone has not beeped again!!!

I had the same problem. I found a recommendation to disable message alerts, then power off/on the kyocera (mine is a Marbl). This seems to have done it for me. It may have just been the powering off/on that did it. Try that first.
