It started right after when I replaced a song in my sound folders. Theres only an "please wait" message and the player wont open. Tried restarting phone and removing batteries but still didn't solve it. Software version is V10g.

Install all music on to the device, then go into music player, it will come up please wait or loading or similair. Wait until it has finished, this could take hours or minutes, then once it is opened the first time it should be ok the rest. Dan

Ok I finally fixed this problem...Firstly, delete all your songs from the phone at the sound folders. Then, test if the music player can work. If it works, you can then out back the songs you have from the computer and restart the phone. The music player whould be able to work.(Be sure to back up your songs first!)

I can not resync my sansa e270 when i plug it into the computer, i use rhapsody and never had this problem before

Hi, theres 2 ways usually to sync with sansa.

usually wen u plug it into the usb cord, u shud be able to open a folder and put musik through that.

My computers. than go to Sansa

or WMP depending on ur version

go to Synchronizing or Copy to CD or DEVICE.

there should be syncing button under the music list depending on the version.

but i stick to open my computer and the Sansa folder.

IF NOT THAN DO THIS..

Go to ur Sansa in the USB option change it to MSC than follow these instructions

To add songs using the MSC mode, follow these steps:

1. Organize your songs into folders and place it into one directory.
2. Open "My Computer" and open the drive for your Sansa.
3. click on Tools choose File Option, there will be a Pop-up screen and choose View Tab
4. Select on Show Hidden files and Folder Option, so you can see all the files
5. Choose MUSIC Folder, double click and Drag and drop all the songs on that folder, and It will go automatically on your player. OR highlight a songs, right click select COPY, go to MUSIC folder right click then PASTE and it will be save on your Player

Good luck.

I dont know how to put music in this mp3 player!!!

Hook up your mp3 player to your computer
Go to your desktop and double left click on "My Computer"
When it opens you will see listing that says "Devices with Removal Storage" your mp3 player should be listed there.
Right click on your mp3 player, and a window will open, right click on
"Open" and now your files/songs should be visible.
Hold the left click down and drag it across all the files/songs that
you do not want this will highlight the files/songs you do not want,
release, right click and then click on "Delete"
Now your mp3 player should be clear of the files/songs you do not want.
Be careful and do not delete files needed to operate your MP3 player.
Good Luck,
I hope this helps

Thank You

How do I download music on it from itunes

Go to your I-Tunes folder, and you can select which MP3 files to put on your Coby player. If all of your songs are in the M4A I-Tune format you can get a FREE program to change them to mp3 from here:

http://www.magicvideo.net/m4a-to-mp3/

I use music in the *.mp3 format at 128mbs

1. I put all movies (avi or wmv), music (MP3s), photos (160x128pixels - jpg) or audiobooks in it's own folder (on my computer) in a folder called "FOR COBY"

2. Open the COBY Manager
If you've had to re-format the player (which is a great way to get all previous stuff off it), you can get the Coby Manager from here:

CobyMedia Manager fix for MP822 (Windows XP/2000/Vista)

Don't let it throw you that it says it's for the MP822 - it also works great for the MP610

3. Plug your COBY player (THAT IS TURNED OFF) into the USB port - it will show up in the "DEVICE" tab

4. Click on the "Music" tab.

5. You can get the music into the folder one of three ways

a. Drag and drop from your COBY FOLDER/MUSIC FOLDER to the blank/empty space in the Coby Manager Music Page OR

b. Use the "SEARCH" icon (7th icon from the left - looks like a magnifying glass.)

c. Go to: My Documents/ My Music/ ITunes/ Music/
Then start looking in the folders for individual songs or select an entire folder - drag an drop onto a blank area of the Coby Manager Music Page. (If you put a music folder on the player, it will keep the songs in the order that they are in the folder.)

6. Right Click on a song, select "Synchronize" when it's done you will see a closed lock in the Status column

7. From COBY Manager,
a. CLICK "DEVICE" tab
b. Click on Music folder - there it is....

8. Go back to the MUSIC Tab. To get ALL the new songs in this tab to synch with the player:
a. Click on EDIT
b. Click on SELECT ALL
c. You will want to unselect the first song you synched (so it won't be highlighted in orange)
d. Right click on any orange highlighted song and select "Synchronize"
e. This will take awhile especially if you add 1300 songs at a time!
f. When it is done, all the music that has been added to you player will have a closed lock icon under the STATUS column.
g. Go to the DEVICE tab page and they will all be listed under the music folder.

Use the DEVICE Tab Page to EJECT the Coby player.

1. It will have a pop-up screen to ask "Do you want to eject?" Click YES.
2. The second pop-up screen will tell you "The device can now be safely removed from the system.

The Coby will now show "Please Wait..." in the screen.

It will take the Coby about 10 minutes on the Please Wait and then to UPDATE the Library - Be PATIENT
ENJOY!

Open the device under My Computer. Your music is in the Music folder. Select the songs to copy, right click on one and select COPY. Select the destination folder on your computer and right click an select PASTE. This should copy all of your music to your PC. If you are receiving an error about "administrator rights" you need to change the Windows User account to the Administrators account. Please add to the question, if you need more assistance.
