Hello Smokinjoex5,

I need to know a model number of the unit in question. The model number should be located on the rear of the unit and/or the numbers off of the compressor. You do understand that you will still need to have a service tech come and install the compressor as this is not something that you can do, you have to be a licensed HVAC service tech.

Post back and I will try and locate you a compressor.

Thank you for choosing

Washing machine model zwf14070w1. Machine is flooding from underneath, drum is making loud grinding noise when rotating, and filter is full of what appears to be white synthetic fibrous material, which we...

Noisy machine is due to improper or fault in the drive of the motor and agitator assembly . You might have to remove this unit and overhaul , maybe the bearings or hub need a change.
Also try to use some lubricating oil on the moving shaft so as to lubricate and reduce the noise.
The filter clogging is the fiber that comes from the clothes while it is tumbled and in a period of time will accumulate. you need to clean them occasionally.
the flooding is due to clogging of filter of the drain and resulting in leaks . Check the drain pump/valve, check the hose fittings and make sure these are tight. check the inlet pipelines for leak and the washer door gaskets.

Going to replace hvac system. Don't know what

According to the model number it is a 2 ton or 24,000 BTU unit. It is very important that you change the indoor coil as well as the outdoor section, due to it being a 10 SEER unit, and the new basic systems are 13 SEER, the old coil cannot handle the higher SEER ratings.
Rheem and Ruud are the same equipment, just 1 number different on the model number.
I hope this has helped, please rate the new guy :)
Please contact me if I can be of any further help to you.
Have a great day!

I need help locating the reset button for an old Miller HVAC (heat pump) - i had one of those micro-filters in and the compressor shut off - my A/C repairman friend told me the reset is now what I need to...

I don't believe " Miller" brand has a manual reset for high pressure. The disconnect box on the wall next to the out door unit is fused. It has a pull bar in it and has the fuses attached or behind it, depending on the box. The fuses are " slow blow " fuses, a little more expensive than normal, but if one is bad, change them both. Only check them with the breaker turned off. If you cannot check them it would be worth while replacing them. Chances are that is your problem. Most of the time that is all that is wrong, but there is a chance that something wrong in the electrical for the outdoor, ie capacitor, compressor or fan motor, in which case you need a service tech to make that call.

Whirlpool Velos Microwave showing "Error F7 HV SMPS Feedback" error. What does that mean?

F7 means that the control panel is not getting feedback from the Switched Mode Power Supply (high-voltage inverter).

This could be due to a problem with the inverter or the control unit / circuit board, but it appears to be the latter in most cases.

We repair microwave control boards for customers nationwide with our guaranteed $39.95 service.

We have full details, plus critical safety, disassembly, and troubleshooting info at our site. You'll find a link to our site in our listing here on FixYa:

There should also be a "mini-manual" hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful.

You may reply back with your brand and model number if you'd like us to look into this further, or feel free to contact me directly if you need more help.

We're happy to help and we appreciate your thoughtful rating of our answer.
