Question about Xerox Phaser 8860MFP/D - Multifunction - color - solid ink - co... InkJet Printer
When I try to print from word 2007 to my xerox phaser 8860 I receive the first few pages that are just text then once the page starts printing a graph I have the printer spits out the paper, blank, then on the back (duplex) I receive a courier font message only saying "PCL5 OUT OF MEMORY!"
If anyone could please give me any advice I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you -Travis
After reading some similar stories, I simply restarted the Xerox Phaser printer via the menu on the physical printer. I theorize perhaps the Phasers on board memory could have been bogged down from all the pictures involved in the problem documents and all the size problems associated with large files.

If your are using big file mostly printing on colors and spreadsheets, a PCL5 out of memory message will display. This is because the printer is having issues converting the file for printing. The best option is to install a PS driver which best caters to huge files.
