Hello Sarthak

In order to activate pre-loaded songs again you would have to visit nearest Nokia Care center and carry proof of purchase of your cell phone, they would activate the pre-loaded songs again for you.

Pre-loaded songs are DRM protected songs, i had a similar problem with my handset when i first upgraded my phone, it is advisible in future to first take a back up of your device before you upgrade to avoid this problem

How come when I plug my new mp3 player in my car, it only plays the preloaded songs that came with theproduct? I have an MP727-8G

you have to have the songs you loaded in the same root folder as those songs in order for the head unit to find them. Connect the player to your computer and open the files to view. Browse your way to the preloaded songs and simply move the others to that same folder. While your there, you may want to delete the preloaded stuff that you dont want.

GOOD LUCK AND PLS RATE THIS POST!!!!

I would just do a clean install if I was you. Just put in the XP disk and install as if it were a new system. If you have files on your system that you want to keep just save them to a DVD or CD to avoid any issues with upgrading.

Windows and MAC each want to format the player in their own way - using both on one iPod = eventual death for your iPod (and mass confusion, frustration in between). Pick a computer - format the player for that computer only. Make sure that all songs you are trying to load are in the right format suggested by the user manaul. WMA files are trouble - avoid them if possible (if you want, I will give you clarification on this).

Changing Default Settings

I had the same problem recently and found the solution here. A previous post suggested upgrading the firmware. I tried that and it worked. Now, whenever I change settings, they are saved automatically. That included starting the current song from where it left off.

To upgrade your firmware, go to the Creative site and Support page. One problem I had was that I had not installed the Creative software that came with my player. However, you must at least install the Creative Mass Storage driver (also found on their site) in order to upgrade the firmware. Not installing the driver will result in the firmware upgrade failing with an "Unable to lock drive" error.
