I have a Front Load Washer Model # FTF2140ESO, just washing my bed sheets and we hear a large BOOM, thought someone drove through our house, our house shook so bad. Turned out to be our Frigidaire Front Load Washing Machine. I use HE soap I had the door replaced about 2 months ago cause it cracked, what could have cause it to explod?
of course this happens 2 days before christmas. by the looks of it, it don't look fixable, the door wont close wire hanging on the inside of it the frame is all bent up. We have a Police and Fire report on it in case.

SOURCE: Boom and Bang Washing Machine
Bed sheets or comforters will often get out of balance in the spin cycle or during the rinse cycle. Throw some towels in there next time at least 5 big ones. They are engineered to take a little of this banging, it should only happen once in a while.

I've had this happen before. Try unplugging it and leaving it unplugged for about five minutes. Plug in and try again.

SOURCE: Foul odor from front load washing machine
Front loaders are known for building up mold and the smell.
It’s caused by using liquid detergent which is made from animal fat. Use
powder. And use the minimum amount.
It’s caused by using fabric softener. Dilute it 50/50 with water.
It’s caused by the water remaining in the tub between washes. Leave the door
open to allow it to dry. .
Pull the rubber door seal back and clean the mold off .
