I cant open my email box. its able to show me how

maybe you can check with the bottom of "last" on the column, this unread mail perhaps hide

filter the mails as unread first and then view all

but in a different browser it should work fine

This means that the unread emails in your inbox are new emails.

this means you should open them unless you know who they are sent from.

maybe the mail that you've expecting went directly to the spam page.

When first opening your email window you will see on the left top line above the first email the word delete
On the left of the enclosed box that has delete in it will be a check box. Click on that check box to the left of the delete box and then click on delete
Now all emails showing on that page will be gone

All the places where your unread mail goes will remain unread as one place does not know whether you have read the mail or not. In that folder you have not. Disable one of the options that you can do without.

have you signed off then back on?
That may fix it.

Open the inbox and click View All Messages, click unread messages, if you have any on the last page as late arrivals or in folders they will show. This has been happening to all of us while yahoo has been upgrading the classic mail. Yahoo says this is a glitch and will clear on it's own. Did for all of us. Refreshing the page, restarting the comp and clicking on the number don't work. Only Yahoo and time. When it happened to me, my mail alerts also quit working so I had to continually look to see if I had new mail. It was maddening, then all of a sudden one day it cleared and my alerts were restored all on it's own.

Can you check that you have no unread messages in your inbox. It seems like you may have 13 messages in your inbox that you have not opened.

I have deleted all my mails in all folders...but yet there is still 1 unread message..there is nothing left in my folders inbox, spam, drafts, sent
