Xerox WorkCentre 5230A email print problem.

Our office printer is a Xerox WorkCentre 5230A PCL6. When I print an email (Outlook 2007) the header is ok but content is reduced with 80mm margin to the left.
If I select another printer there is no problem.

Xerox workcentre pro 55 pcl xl error

We have a WorkCentre 7655 that has been working fine for ages but is now causing some issues. A user who is running Windows 7 32 bit edition is sending files to print (using the secure print function) - the system is reporting they have spooled fine to the printer - but when they go and release the document they are getting (more often than not) about 16 out of 21 pages (for example) and then a PCL XL Error (Subsystem: Text, InternalError 0x50, Operator: Text, Position: 8564). I have another document that 9 times out of ten will actually crash the WorkCentre completely and cause it to reboot mid way through printing.

The driver we are using is the latest: "Xerox WorkCentre 7655 rev 2.0 PCL6"

As mentioned the user is running Windows 7 - the printer is shared from a Windows 2003 Server which has the same version of the driver.

XEROX WORKCENTRE 7328 IS RUNNING SLOW WHILE PRINTING PDFs

Are you printing to the printer using the Xerox Global Print Driver PCL6? If so, this will be the cause of your problem. Earlier versions of the driver werent as bad when processing PDF documents. I would suggest that you download the Workcentre 7328 PCL6 driver and try that - the problem should clear.

Cheers

Jon.

Try using the Postscript Driver. Once it is installed, you should be able to open the Properties > Advanced > Printing Defaults > Advanced > Image Options > Margins and set it to None.

Need printer driver for Windows Vista 64 bits for Xerox WorkCentr

http://www.support.xerox.com/go/results.asp?Xlang=en_US&XCntry=USA&prodID=GLOBALPRINTDRIVER&ripId=&Xtype=download

You can try this driver. It may be quirky at first but it should work for basic printing needs. There is a PCL6 and post script try both sometimes it will take one but not the other. Its vista flip a coin :) -Phil
