You probably have already looked this up by just in case here is Okidatas instructions for clearing this jam: http://my.okidata.com/PP-C5100n.nsf?opendatabase. If you have already looked here and done this then I would suggest: -Open and close the rear cover. -Pull out and replace each of the toner cartridges. -Pull out the duplexer, ensure it is clear of jams and replace. -Pull out each of the paper trays (including the manual tray), ensure paper is installed correctly and replace. -Close the top cover. Per Okidata this has to be done last or else you will continue to see a jam error. -Try unplugging the printer and letting it set for a few minutes and retry. If that fails you might try purchasing a can of air from the computer store (about $3) and blow out the paper path to clear any paper or dust that may be blocking an optical sensor.

Jfasher got it spot on !
The clear wheel on mine was freewheeling and a gentle push of this wheel on to the white cog behind seemed to engage it and its working again

Ther is some tiny little paper piece left in the machine! You will find it at the left hand side near the gear wheels ;-)

SOURCE: hp 5550 laserjet paper jam
Thhis error is usually due to a dirty photcell (sensor) in the tray 2 paper feed assembly or a broken sensor flag in the same assembly. Start be removing all cartridges and the transfer belt. Look in the bottom of the printer below the lowest cartridge slot for a removeable cover. That's the area your problem is probably in. I have incuded a link to a free PDF of complete service manual below. Good luck.
