Hi,

This could be a corrupt or not completely installed OS, and device driver, it is better to re install it again.

Hope this helps

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Try doing a system restore to a very early point. So if a program you installed was a big size, it will have gone. If you don't want to lose data then you can open Disk Defragmenter or Disk Cleanup. Hope this helps. Get back in touch. Steven :D

Aspire 5336 everything has gone slow

Sounds like you have contracted a virus or malware of some sort. Try running an update on your antivirus software and then scan. See if it comes up with anything if not find your system restore see if you can find a restore point back past the point of slow down. Make sure you remember anything you installed since that point and any changes you made so it will help you figure what you may have added that caused the problem or help reinstall what you may need that the restore set back and you no longer have. If this fixes your problem go back and do the same things you did since then and see if you can find the culprit.

Go to the last point in time you can remember before you made this change and use System Restore.

this symbol > means go to the next step or window.

Start Button>All Programs>Accressoies>System Tools> System Restore. Now that you're there click it, use common sense, and get to the point where you are able to pick a point back in time to reset you computer to.Then click on that, initiate SYstem Restore, and con't touch anything or get impatient until your computer goes through shutdown, reboot and you are back at your desktop.

All those changes you made will be gone.

try to run your computer with your Antivirus disabled temporarily
>if it runs faster then it is an issue with your anti virus but there only is a slim chance that this a security issue, but it's worth trying it.

if system is still slow:

>Try optimizing your browser by going to Internet Options on Control Panel
>click on Delete Files check the box that says DELETE ALL OFFLINE CONTENT and Delete Cookies under General tab
>Go to Advanced tab click on Restore default Settings or Restore Advanced Settings
>click Apply

>if this doesn't work,do a Disk Cleanup,Disk Defragmenter, or System Restore follow these steps:
>click on START
>click ALL PROGRAMS
>click ACCESSORIES
>click SYSTEM TOOLS
>click Disk Cleanup / Disk Defragmenter / System Restore
(these 3 tools are all on the same folder)
*****System Restore will be the last resort. this sets your computer back to the date when you know your computer was working perfectly fine.
