Question about Yahoo Messenger
Help every time I use my pc I get cut of with this message
Yahoo messenger has encounted a problem and needs to close we are sorry for the inconveniance. This yahoo has contaminated my pc.BT has advised I contact you now as this problem has now been troubling me for 4 weeks so I cannot use my new PC Please fix this otherwise I will complain to the ombudsman Tony
Do you have the error signature that accompanies the error message?
You may have malware on your computer or a conflict with Yahoo Messenger and some other software
Download Malwarebytes and run it through - use the free version it will allow you to deal with anything it finds
If it runs clean uninstall Yahoo Messenger using Revo in 'Advanced mode'
delete everything it finds on the scan.
Restart your computer
Download Yahoo Messenger from here
Check the 'Technical' tab to ensure you have the necessary resources to run Messenger
Make sure you have the necessary support software loaded to drive Messenger - Use Internet Explorer for this exercise
use the links on this page to help update software.
After updating check with Revo to ensure you do not have any old versions of Flashplayer, Shockwaveplayer and Java running alongside the latest - this can cause conflicts

Try to download another version of the Yahoo! Messenger software. You probably have installed an incompatible or the beta version of the software.
