Janine Jem platinum 760, ,needle just going up and down, have cleaned and checked feed dogs are up and moving help what's wrong, are the dogs too low is there a adjuster can't find it ?

Make sure the stitch length is set high enough to actually advance the fabric--the feed dogs actually need to move forward and backward.. The stitch length control controls how much the feed dogs move the fabric. Also, check if your machine has a presser foot pressure control. This manages the amount of pressure the presser foot applies to the fabric, causing the feed dogs to grip the fabric in their movement.

If these do not resolve the issue, you may need to take it for service.

Feed dog on Necchi 681c has drop, how do I fix it?

A lot of machines have a control knob/lever that raises and lowers the feed dogs. However, remember that when the control is activated, the feed dogs will not rise until the machine actually begins to stitch.

If the feed dogs do not rise, then there is most likely a problem and needs to be serviced.

White sewing machine. The control for the feed dog pressure isn't working, how do I fix it?

It has most likely seized due to lack of oiling. Apply a couple drops of liquid Tri-Flow Synthetic Lube to the feed dog mechanism and then direct hot air from a handheld hair dryer into the internal mechanism. Alternate lube & air--may take several times over several days. Eventually, it may loosen. Do not force the feed dog knob, but wiggling it may loosen things.

How do i control the feed dog?

The feed dog travel is controlled by the stitch length. The feed dog lever controls whether they are raised or lowered, ie for darning or free motion quilting.

Feed dog button is stuck in the in position won't come out to raise feed dogs?

"FEED DOG BUTTON" ISN'T QUITE CLEAR. HOWEVER, THE FEED DOG IS CONTROLLED BY THE STITCH LENGTH. IF THE STITCH LENGTH IS SET TO ZERO THE FEED DOG WILL STAY BELOW THE PLATE AND THE MATERIAL WON'T MOVE.

Feed Dogs won't come back up!

Have you tried sewing with the machine after setting feed dogs to up position. You may already realise but it takes a full revolution of the machine to engage and raise the feed dogs after setting the feed lift control to up (the feed dods will drop as soon as you adjust the feed lift control but will not raise until a full revolution of the stitching mechanism).
If you have already tried this unsuccessfully try removing the cover below the feed dogs and spray lubricant on the feed linkages and try freeing them.

Feed dogs not feeding material

Make sure that you did not disengage the feed dogs by accident. You should have some type of button that allows you to control the feed dogs.

Feed dog is stuck

I have the same problem...this is a work around, not a fix. You need a small flat-head screwdriver. 1. Remove the clear bobbin cover. 2. Make sure the feed dog switch is in the DOWN position. 3. Slide the screwdriver under the feeddogs from inside the bobbin area & lift the feed dogs. 4. While holding the feed dogs in the up position, return the feed dog knob to the up position. You have to do this every time you put the feed dogs down...bummer, but I can find no broken part or adjustment that corrects this. If it's inside the machine body, I don't mess with it... I did take off the bottom plate in the feed dog area..one screw holds it.... there is nothing there to indicate a problem.
