Re: door lock

A slim jim can get it up. take it to a bodyshop, they will unlock it at no charge. you may have to take the inside pannel off and get new parts for it. the dealer can give you a layout of it and you can get the parts form them or a used auto dealer. try to spay wd4dy down it.

How do i remove the latch system with my car seat?

Remove the connectors from the automobile?

If the connectors are hooks, I suggest you first loosen the latch strap (depending on the seat, you may need to push a grey button to release the strap). Then, squeeze the hook and push the connector into the seat bight, Rotate the connector 90 degrees (along the length of the connector) and pull the hook out.

If you cannot remove the connector, go to and look for a fitting station in your area. They will help you.

I cannot move the headrest for the Maxi-Cosi Axiss. I have tried to pull up on it after I have loosened the belt but it will not budge.

Move it forward before attempting to pull it up or move it down, it needs to be unlocked before it will move.

Fix a car seat buckle?

Technically, the "latchplate won't lock into the buckle."
Did it ever? If so, look into the buckle and check that no foreign objects are in the buckle (children do this all the time). Confirm the latchplate isn't deformed.
Check to see if you are using the correct latchplate for that seating position.

I have the isofix easy fix base. It will not come out of the car. We press in button in and pull and it does not move at all. It's almost like the locking mechanism has jammed. Any suggestions?

Good Afternoon

On either side of the EasyFix base you will see a small square opening with the yellow IsoFix point showing through it. Take a flat head screwdriver and slide into this hole facing toward the front of the car and gently push the screwdriver handle so it ends up facing the rear of the car - this should unlock the IsoFix mechanism. You'll need to do it on both sides if both sides are stuck.

If this doesn't work, or once you have done this, take the base back to your retailer with your proof of purchase if it is under 2 years old and they will be able to assist.

Hi ,just bought new pram & putting it together etc & put mazi cosi pebble onto Quinny frame & it now it won't come off

Good Afternoon

As long as the adaptors are in the right way round it should not get stuck.

The Pebble has two grey memory buttons on either side of it near to where the carry handle joins the carseat. Push these buttons in and now lift the carseat off the chassis.

Power windows on a 1994 ford taurus

what you could do is remove the door card and bypass the switch and put the windows up the windows work from the drivers door ie all the power goes through the window switch first then to all other switches like a set of jump leads also check were the wires go to the door you might have a broken wire check the colour of the power and trace it back from the fuse board to the drivers switch
