Inverted color printing. And lack of color

When i print a piece of work from photoshop, it comes out inverted and lacks sufficient color. For example, i printed of a black background page with white writing, but when its printed. The background appears a pure white, and the white writing is a greyish color. Totally the opposite of what i wanted to print. Any idea.

SOURCE: kodak 5100 no black printing, light on colors

I think if I have to replace the printhead again, I'll replace the printer. The ink is cheaper by the cartridge, but the cartridge does not last near as long. Not sure it's cheaper, and am sure it's not 50 per cent cheaper as they claim. When it works it's great, but it's getting a short trip to the dumpster when it quits again.

SOURCE: Kodak Easyshare 5100 Wont Print In Color Or Black

For all of those problems, you need to replace the Printhead. This is one of the most common issues among the Kodak All in One Printers, they simply stop printing text. However, it seems that Kodak is sending out some new printheads that work so much better, so you should get in contact with their support and have them replace their printheads. Magenta color problem

This can be caused by one color not printing ...either from the lack of toner or the cartridge not being seen as full ..To reset them follow this procedure..
http://www.ehow.com/how_6881778_reset-2600n-toner-chip.html
This will override the toner level in the cartrdges and allow it to print all colors..and probably get rid of teh problem ..Usually the magenta predominant printing is caused by the lack of yellow color ..so watch it cause this one might empty first and cause it again if this procedure fix it for now ..There is a possibility that it is already out ..(empty )

Prints ok in color graphics, prints text in very light blue, barely readable

Check that the jets are clean as it sounds like there may be a restricted flow of ink - assuming that there is sufficient ink in the cartridge. Try printing the test picture in the HP Printer Asistant software. This requires black as well and a lack of black would show up. If the black cartridge is full and you suspect that the jets are blocked, try leeching the jets clean by pressing a piece of tissue paper over them. If that does not help stand the cartridge in a saucer of hot water for a while, wipe off the bottom of the cartridge and try it again. There is also a cartricge cleaning sequence in the HP Printer Assistant probram

Inverted print on lexmark t642

Is the problem present when printing the Menu Settings page? Here's the link on how to print the Menu Settings page: http://bit.ly/9TEP7f. This may also be just a configuration or a setting in the application. This problem normally needs further probing to find the resolution. I would suggest you contact Lexmark Technical Support for further assistance.

COPY QUALITY

Voids are most often caused by lack of sufficient developer, which needs to be changed by a technician. developer has metal beads in it to draw the toner and make a full (dense) copy or print. these beads wear out or "dump" which initially cause gritty prints, then washed out prints. hope this helps.

When you are on the print window at the end of the process, look for a "Preferences" or "Options", then look for tabs or other menus that say "Color" or some sort of "output" mode and see if there is a negative option you can disable.

I have a used C60. I have replaced both ink cartridges with Epson cartridges. When printing in color, the colors are not accurate. For example, red comes out yellow. Also, there are lines running through...

Hi there. The reason for your problem is that the colour cartridge contains cyan, magenta and yellow ink, plus a black cartridge of course. All the other myriad colours are produced by mixing these four basic colours. So, if you print red, it requires ink from both the magenta and yellow cartridges. Thus if your red produces a yellow print, it means your magenta is not printing. This can be due to a number of reasons, mainly an empty or faulty magenta cartridge or blocked magenta print nozzles.

If you wish me to help you with sorting out the lack of magenta, please post a new comment to this effect.

No shadow density in photograph printing

If you haven't been printing for 6 weeks, your print head is clogged, which is why the print quality is poor. Turn your printer on. On your computer, go to START, then SETTINGS, find PRINTERS AND FAXES and click on that. A window will open and you should see your printer. Right click on it, then click on PROPERTIES. A window will open, with several tabs. The one you need is MAINTENANCE. Open the tab and click on CLEAN PRINT HEAD. I think there are 2 options, cleaning and deep cleaning. Click on deep cleaning. You should hear the printer rumbling, then, when it finishes, it should print a page with 4 colors: black, cyan, magenta and yellow. If the colors come out right, you're done. If not, repeat the cleaning until you get a satisfying result. Just bear in mind that cleaning the print head uses a lot of your ink, so I suggest you put the refilled cartridges when performing this operation.
Also, to avoid getting in this situation again, I suggest that you print one page, at least once in 10 days. That way, your print head should always work fine.

If you found my answer helpful, please vote, it really means a lot to me to know weather I am helping someone or not.

i think you have a corrupted driver- you have to uninstall driver first

1. Double click on the MAC HARD DRIVE.
2. Double click on the LIBRARY folder.

4. Drag the EPSON folder to the trash can.

Go to print and fax and delete the printer name as well

Restart the Mac. (You do not need to empty the trash.)
