Hello here is the homepage:

Here is a list of beep codes:

Tree beeps means you have a ram module failure, or not inserted correctly.

This mainboard uses DDR3 ram, up to 16 gb.

Try to start with only one module at the time.

Try also to check the manual:

I'm new at building PCs, but once I got all the hardware installed and turned it on, I could get no video output. I tried with the motherboard video and then with a PCI-E video card and neither would...

Sounds like something like your ram or processor are no good yet.
If it doesn't give any kind of beep, start over, with just ram and processor, and keyboard.
and oh, yea, monitor.

My Thinkpad G41 does not boot up, nothing comes up

Have you tried swapping out ram modules? This would probably be the cheapest. And, a faulty ram module gives a beep code. Try it, and let me know.

Kind regards

IBM G41 turns on but has no video output and gives a three beep sound. Can this be fixed? Was there a defect on this mother board?

Try changing your RAM\Memory. This is often caused by a stick of RAM going bad. You will need to get a notebook stick of PC2700 (333MHz) DDR RAM. I suggest getting a stick that is at least 512MB. The maximum that your computers can take is 2GB (2 sticks X 1GB). If you're unsure your ability to do this then ask a local computer shop\tech to test your RAM by putting a different stick of RAM into your computer. There may be a charge for their services rendered. Often they won't charge you for testing your computer if you pay them for the RAM if\when they diagnose it as definitely being the RAM that is causing the problems. It's usually pretty easy to change the RAM yourself. It's usually located in a compartment that is accessible from the bottom of your laptop. The removable cover with the RAM under it is typically marked with the icon of a memory chip next to the cover. Typically laptops only have 2 RAM slots, one on top of the other. Just move the brackets holding it into place and the RAM should lift up. WARNING: be sure your computer is turned off when doing this and be sure that you're grounded as well. RAM is highly sensitive to static charge (The electrical poke you get from door knobs, light switches, and blankets). A simple static-poke can fry your RAM. If you can't find your RAM in a compartment on the bottom of your laptop, then it is likely under the keyboard. I'm pretty sure your RAM compartment is located on the bottom of your laptop.

When I start the system is not video display

There may be problem in Monitor or VGA Card. When you Turn on PC the Monitor light is green after 10 second if It will be orange . It means your monitor is alright . but problem in you VGA Card. When the PC turn on there is any beep. If no beep then your RAM is alright. Problem in VGA Card.

This is generally a memory problem. Remove the memory, and try them one chip at a time in each slot. If the memory isn't the issue, then try removing the battery and starting with the supply only. Both battery and memory can cause this, but the beep code is generally for the memory, no beeps with the battery. If both check good, then test the power supply with an ohm meter for the proper output. If these three check good, then the problem will lie within the motherboard, and you will need to take it in for a professional diagnosis in order to track down the exact problem area. You might also look on IBM's support site for the beep/sound error codes and any troubleshooting for the exact code you have.
