Question about Computers & Internet
My collegua had a similar problem, he did go to a computer expert and paid to get a new harddisk, I do not know if it is the right solution for you, but his computer work properly know.
You can also try to ask a question here :
For me it sound like that have to do with some drivers that are corrupted, you can try to use chkdsk and see if it is can restore the corrupted files/harddisk. You can use the repair funktion "r" on the setup dvd and then type chkdsk and let it run and then reboot the computer without the dvd disk.
Hope that helps
Have a nice day over there
IF NOT then return here

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
