My dryer had a small melt down. My new wife brought a dryer into the relationship. And now I get to fix it. Apparently the previous owner did not tighten the left terminal tight enough on the main power cord and it melted down. I have a new terminal block but I took it a apart awhile ago and am just now getting around to fixing it. The problem is I don't remember where the different wires on the dryer go. There is a yellow and white wire coming from the controls. There are two blue wires coming from the motor area. ( they were both melted off.) I am pretty sure the white goes to the nuetral and at least one of the blue wire goes to the one side of the hot. I am not sure where the yellow wire goes or the other blue wire. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
2 blues are both phase hot wires, the white is neutral and your yellow is case safety ground,if it will make you feel more secure, take an ohm-meter/multi-meter and check the wires each separately to the case, the 2 low resistance ones are neutral and safety ground

I have a Maytage Neptune Dryer Model #MDE6700AYW and Serial #10607416GN that when I turn the power on it comes on but the dryer does not start. I can hear it click like it wants to turn on but nothing happens and then the dryer timer just starts timing down like it's running. Any thoughts on this?
